The party was styled for Momoko.

The tables were covered in lace, delicate dishes and silverware, flowers that fell from vases covered in Victorian paintings. It was the most extravagant tea party to ever be thrown, with tiny, thin china cups and a too many tiny little finger foods being passed around to count. The ballroom has been styled in extravagant Baroque, as the Capitol was fairly liberal with their adaption of historical time periods.

The costumes were just as liberally chosen, from tall, powdered wigs holding birdcages with live birds, clearly hailing in the style of Marie Antoinette to regency gowns gathered under daringly (and occasionally outright) exposed busts to tight corsets and the skeletons of skirts exposed and decorated. A quarter played live music at one end of the room, before a wide dance floor.

At the head of the room there was a long table with a throne for Momoko, as elaborate as anything else in the room. And along the long table, group close to those who they seemed to enjoy, was a place for many of the Tributes, with a small place card that said "Special guest of The Capitol." This table was fed first, received drinks first, and was clearly favored.

Any Tributes not seated at the long table with their peers were dispersed among the the smaller table spread about the room, left to rub elbows with the guests invited from the Capitol, and the reporters covering the event. Security was, if anything, tighter than the last crowning.

These people have seats a the big kids table. You guys are free to decide who sits by who (And if three people sit by one person, don't worry too much about it) but they are, when possible set by their friends:

He laughed again.

"Yeah, I guess? I'm gonna need to drink more for that."

Blaine raised his brow a bit. "Oh, if you think I'm not going to drag you out there, you're sadly mistaken."

Atticus picked up his glass, filled with something pink and bubbly. "I'm definitely gonna need another, then."

Blaine chuckled a bit. "You take as much as you need to dance with me."

Grinning, Atticus finished his drink, and before he could even think about asking for another, it was refilled.

"This is pretty good, actually," he said as he took another drink.

"Yeah? Is it strong?" Blaine tended to act rather foolish with alcohol and he was the lightest light weight he knew. He picked up the drink to sniff at it before sipping it.

"I don't think so? It tastes like lemonade."

Atticus' favorite drink was tequila, so this would best to take with a grain of salt.

Blaine ends up drinking a little more. "It is pretty good."

"It's all...fizzy," he said, finishing his second glass, and grinning a little when it was refilled again.

"Are you sure it's not alcoholic?" Blaine asked as he watched how much of it Atticus was drinking.

[kind_of_a_nerd]

"It's a little bit alcoholic, I think," he said, turning to Blaine with a smile. "Not too much, though. I think."

"How long does it usually take for you to get drunk?"

[kind_of_a_nerd]

"Like...six or seven shots?"

This was since he was turned, of course. It had been less before that.

"Wow. I think if I drank that much I'd end up passed out on the floor."

Atticus giggled a little. "Kind of a lightweight, huh?"

Blaine nodded and managed to look embarrassed. "Yeah. A few beers and I start doing really stupid things."

"That's what alcohol is for, dude!"

[mediumdrip]

"Not when it makes you make out with a girl," Blaine pointed out, still embarrassed by laughing a bit.

Atticus laughed and then wrinkled his nose, making a face. "Um...yeah, I guess? I mean...you know, it can still be fun while you're drunk?"

"Is that something you do regularly?"

"Um...not regularly? But it has been known to happen," Atticus said with a laugh. "I mean...girls are nice when you're drunk, right? All soft and stuff."

"They are really pretty, aren't they? And so kind and sweet..." He found himself glancing over to Lottie who was sitting next to him on the other side.

"Yeah, exactly! And they make nice pillows."

This represented the extent to which Atticus had considered boobs.

Blaine laughed a bit. "So do guys, if you lay on them right."

He grinned.

"Yeah, that's totally true.
