The party was styled for Momoko.

The tables were covered in lace, delicate dishes and silverware, flowers that fell from vases covered in Victorian paintings. It was the most extravagant tea party to ever be thrown, with tiny, thin china cups and a too many tiny little finger foods being passed around to count. The ballroom has been styled in extravagant Baroque, as the Capitol was fairly liberal with their adaption of historical time periods.

The costumes were just as liberally chosen, from tall, powdered wigs holding birdcages with live birds, clearly hailing in the style of Marie Antoinette to regency gowns gathered under daringly (and occasionally outright) exposed busts to tight corsets and the skeletons of skirts exposed and decorated. A quarter played live music at one end of the room, before a wide dance floor.

At the head of the room there was a long table with a throne for Momoko, as elaborate as anything else in the room. And along the long table, group close to those who they seemed to enjoy, was a place for many of the Tributes, with a small place card that said "Special guest of The Capitol." This table was fed first, received drinks first, and was clearly favored.

Any Tributes not seated at the long table with their peers were dispersed among the the smaller table spread about the room, left to rub elbows with the guests invited from the Capitol, and the reporters covering the event. Security was, if anything, tighter than the last crowning.

These people have seats a the big kids table. You guys are free to decide who sits by who (And if three people sit by one person, don't worry too much about it) but they are, when possible set by their friends:

This was since he was turned, of course. It had been less before that.

Atticus giggled a little. "Kind of a lightweight, huh?"

Blaine nodded and managed to look embarrassed. "Yeah. A few beers and I start doing really stupid things."

"That's what alcohol is for, dude!"

"Not when it makes you make out with a girl," Blaine pointed out, still embarrassed by laughing a bit.

Atticus laughed and then wrinkled his nose, making a face. "Um...yeah, I guess? I mean...you know, it can still be fun while you're drunk?"

"Is that something you do regularly?"

"Um...not regularly? But it has been known to happen," Atticus said with a laugh. "I mean...girls are nice when you're drunk, right? All soft and stuff."

"They are really pretty, aren't they? And so kind and sweet..." He found himself glancing over to Lottie who was sitting next to him on the other side.

"Yeah, exactly! And they make nice pillows."

This represented the extent to which Atticus had considered boobs.

Blaine laughed a bit. "So do guys, if you lay on them right."

He grinned.

"Yeah, that's totally true.

"Especially this part," he said, reaching out to touch Attcius's forearm. "And this part." His hand slid over to Atticus's chest.

Atticus smiled, leaning into the touch tipsily. "Yeah. Definitely this part," he agreed, touching Blaine's chest.

Blaine smiled back and then slowly pulled his hand back. As he did it slid over Atticus's body. "You feel a lot like me," he said finally. "Just hairier."

Atticus giggled, leaning into the touch. "I was just gonna say the same. I mean, you feel like me but not as hairy."

Blaine laughed a bit and then reached out to take another drink. he felt a little overheated. "So... You're not much taller than I am." he said. "If we're really that much alike that means I'm stuck too?"

Atticus laughed as well. "Yeah, sorry. It's not so bad, though! I like being with guys who are bigger than me."

Blaine nodded at that. "Most of the guys I've been attracted to are taller than I am," he said. He thought about Kurt and then sighed. "The guy I want to spend the rest of my life with is almost at six feet."

"Yeah, I..." He frowned, blushing and ducking his head. "The last guy I was with was like...six six."

He shook his head. "So you've...got a boyfriend?"

Blaine winces a bit. "Not really. We're, um, broken up. I probably shouldn't have called him that," he felt like an idiot now that he thought of it. "I did something really horrible and it really hurt him. He was completely right to call it off with me but we saw each other over Christmas." A pause. "That's where I was when they took me here. I was in his apartment on Christmas."

"Fuck, man," Atticus said, moving his hand to Blaine's shoulder and giving it a squeeze. "That really sucks."

"It's kind of dumb that I'm so depressed because it was Christmas," he said. He found himself leaning a bit into Atticus then, seeking out the comfort being offered. "This place is the worst Christmas gift I can think of."
