Who| Every tribute.
What| Interview time!
Where| The training center.
When| Through out the week after the arena's end.
Warnings/Notes| You can either reply in prose or action, but please use the text area box and leave the questions bolded for mod ease. Also, nothing will be left private, she's lying. We're not sure when part 2 of this plot will happen, so feel free to take your time responding.

Through out the week, each tribute is escorted to an office room. It is a nice, posh comfortable room, with light food and drink to the tributes preference set out on the table.

A screen comes on, showing a very friendly looking, but strangely generic female. Although it is too minor to truly be noticed, the avatar is geared to subtly reflect the tribute to put them at ease, and their style is very simple for the Capitol.

The avatar speak in a calm yet friendly and engaging voice. Again, pitched to a tone similar to the tribute being interviewed.

"Hello! Given the influx of new tribute, the Capitol would like to get to know you, one by one, in your own words. Everything shared here will be between you and the screen, so feel free to speak freely!"

The woman goes through her questions, waiting for a response from the tribute. If a tribute doesn't respond, they are left in 10 minutes of silence before the next question is asked. Anything, no matter how it relates to the question, is treated as a proper answer.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? He grins slightly. "The technology. It's quite incredible."
Least favorite? His expression darkens and he goes silent.
What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? After a few moments of staring off into space, he shrugs.
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? "No one." He grins again. "Everyone."
What do you miss from home? "My lab." He says slowly, staring off again.
Anything you would like to add? Silence.

Least favorite? "All of the humans."
What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? "I do not know him. I will win."
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? "Some is my only ally. ...They all have to die, don't they?" She looks momentarily confused.
What do you miss from home? The grue suddenly looks sullen. "My family..."
Anything you would like to add? "I do not like it here."

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? <I don't believe I have one...>
Least favorite? <It's very confined and much of it is indoors... andalites are not fit for city life.>
What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? <I'm unfamiliar with him. I don't know?>
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? <Some and Lottie. Perhaps the small child I met last arena. I do not target specific beings.>
What do you miss from home? <My family... I miss them very much.> Her stalk-eyes and main eyes turn downward.
Anything you would like to add? <No.>

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? "I am fond of it's architecture. It is a secret passion of mine."
Least favorite? "Being bereft of my magic. For a Witch it can be gravefully distressicating to be without it."
What do youthink of the newest winner? Who else could win? "Mister Wesker? I do not know him at all. But he seems to be fortunate soul."
She pauses thoughtfully for a moment before adding. "I wish that one of the child tributes would win next time. It seems wrong to allow them to fight. They are too young, after all."
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? "I do not consider any targets. I act only in self-defence. All are my allies."
What do you miss from home? "I miss politicking. I was the leader of Oz, coming to this where I have no political prowesses is most irregular to me."
Anything you would like to add? "May I leave now?"

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? "The attention." Gaila nods her head and then adds. "The shopping too. I like the shopping. There's some weirdass shit out there but there's some really cute stuff if you look hard enough."
Least favorite? "Probably all the food and people openly chewing. That shit's gross."
What do youthink of the newest winner? Who else could win? "Dunno. But he has crazy eyes. Nobody needs that many sunglasses without being a psycho. It should be me or Jim next. Maybe me and Jim. We could do a Kat-whatever and Peeta and fuck everything up by both winning."
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? "Jim 'nd Harley are my only allies. Even then I'd pretty much still off them if I thought it meant I would win. Everybody's a target to me."
What do you miss from home? "Nothing." That's a patented lie but she doesn't believe this is just believe them and the computer somehow.
Anything you would like to add? "Not really, but thanks for having me anyway." She blows a kiss to the screen before leaving.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? The view is quite good.
Least favorite? Nothing comes to mind.
What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? I have no thoughts on the matter.
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? I do not have allies. Nor do I have enemies.
What do you miss from home? It is unusual to not have access to space.
Anything you would like to add? No.

[Nothing here is just between her and a screen. It was the very first thing she'd learned here. The level of surveillance made her skin crawl.

But she's nothing if not polite.]

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? It's clean.
Least favorite? [She chooses to answer this with terse silence.]
What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? I've never met him. I wouldn't know.
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? [She rubs a finger gently under her eye and then examines her fingers for a moment.] I imagine you already know.

[He picks up a cup and sniffs it before shrugging, unconcerned and setting it down, finally settling in front of the screen.]

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? The girls.
Least favorite? [Here he pulls a face.] The alcohol.
What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? I think I'd like to get to know him better.
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? Anyone. No one. Who says there has to be any to get things done?
What do you miss from home? [You're shitting him, right? Jim stares at the screen, slowly smiling before shaking his head. He's not giving you anything there. What he misses is not for them to know.]
Anything you would like to add? Yeah, actually, what's a guy got to do around here to get laid?

Between running from zombies and getting impaled, Julie's up for an interview. It's a damn cakewalk compared to anything else. Besides, she's getting a handle on this game thing. Even though she's not ready for Peeta-levels of regurgitation, she at least learned a little something from him.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? The people. The life. The city's teeming with it. [She opens her mouth to continue, then shuts it after deciding otherwise. Keep it real.]

Least favorite? It's not so bad.

What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? I dunno. I've seen worse. [She shrugs.]

Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? I'm willing to be flexible. Anyone who doesn't try to kill me at first glance. [She wants to laugh. There's the joke, guys. Hilarious.] I've only got one target, but it'd be pretty arrogant to list them off.

What do you miss from home? [A longer pause than usual.] Nothing.

Anything you would like to add? Uh. Thanks?

[Snow is not in a very happy mood, but she presents herself today as someone very... pleasant. It's all she can muster.]

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? It's very clean here, and the city is lovely. The mountains and the sky here are beautiful.

Least favorite? ..... I'm not really certain I've been here long enough to discuss that.

What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? I can't say that I know much about him. He seems like a very strong young man. But I think everyone could win, given the right opportunities and luck.

Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? My best friend is here and will forever be someone I will consider an ally. I also met a very nice young woman named Stephanie. I do hope she's alright.

What do you miss from home? My family.

Anything you would like to add? Nothing today, thank you.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? Your mom. And the mini bar in my suite. Very convenient. Thank you.

Least favorite? Now that's a loaded question if I've ever seen one. No one really has a knack for subtlety around here, do they? Not that I imagine you're going to answer me. But yeah... no. I'm not answering this question. I'm a lot of things, but I'm not stupid.

What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? That douche nozzle? Fuck that guy. I don't actually give a shit who wins, but I'm pretty sure I'd rather it not be him.

Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? My allies know who they are. You know who there are, too. We literally have a team name. It's not all that hard to figure out. Don't know who I'm talking about, there are probably hundreds of hours of footage of me inside arenas NOT killing certain people.

Clever asking about targets though. Can't say I have any particular targets. Other than the assholes who stand between me, and what I want.

What do you miss from home? I miss my house and my things and my girlfriend and not being shoved into death matches every couple weeks and then DYING. But whatever.

Anything you would like to add? Go fuck yourself.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol?
Your medical advances are incredible. I don't know how you do it, obviously, but it's pretty amazing. I think a lot of your technology is more advanced than ours. The people here are... well-meaning, I think.

Least favorite?
I didn't ask to be here. I've served my country on three continents, but every time I signed up for it.

What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win?
Wesker? I never really ran into him. I suppose he's the kind of winner you expect, here.

Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets?
You're the ones with the cameras, aren't you? I think you probably know.

What do you miss from home?
My flat, my job, England. Decent beer. Terrible home-made curry.

Anything you would like to add?
I think you might really want to think about letting us visit the districts we've been told we represent. I know the Games mean a lot to you, but it's not how we were raised, and we don't understand why they're necessary. If you want us to feel a connection, you really have to let us meet the people we're fighting for.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? [He stretches his arms out in front of him. Taps on the table.] The people. They have a certain brilliance to them. They're unlike anyone anywhere else.

Least favorite? The spotlight isn't much for me, I'm afraid. [A wink.] I grow self-conscious.

What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? [He raises his eyebrows, conspiratorial.] No comment.

Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? I don't really think about it in terms of allies and targets. I respect everyone in the arena. [Smile.] Save for a few.

What do you miss from home? [He cocks his head.] Pecan pie.

Anything you would like to add? I want to express my tremendous gratitude for those who have provided such a warm welcome to this city. I would like to thank my supporters, especially. I'd be a lesser man without you.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? The music is kind of cool? I mean, it's different to what I'm used to, and that's pretty neat to see.
Least favorite? Well, you don't seem to have much for junk food. The food you have is awesome! But it's all fancified, you know?
What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? Um...he's...well. [He rubs the back of his neck, his smile faltering.] I guess he's about who I'd expect to win.
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? I haven't really been thinking that way? It seems kinda dangerous to have allies, and...I wouldn't know who to target.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? It's hard to say just yet, but it really is...a fascinating place. I'm looking forward to getting to know it better.
Least favorite? The necessity of limiting the Tributes. Really, why bring us in if you aren't going to let us...shine?
What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? I haven't yet had a chance to familiarize myself with the competition, but I'd say I have a decent shot at the next arena.
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? Oh, it's hard to say as yet.
What do you miss from home? My unique gifts.
Anything you would like to add? As I said before, this is a remarkable place you've got. I would love to have the chance to explore it further, and I humbly offer my assistance in anyway possible. I'm sure the powers that be can easily imagine what an asset I would be to such a government.

Least favorite?
So much to do, so little time.
What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? Meh.

Obviously I'm going to say myself, but that Howie kid, he's someone to watch out for.
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? Now, that would be telling.
What do you miss from home? My girl, my love, light of my life, my little snugglebunny.

Also, my furniture. The decor here just doesn't have the same vibe.

Anything you would like to add? I just hope the Capitol knows just how much I appreciate their hospitality, and I truly can't wait for the day I can show you all how appreciative I'm feeling.

What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win?
I've yet to meet the man.
The Gamemakers do everything in their power to keep us guessing about the future, I really couldn't speculate.
Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? I don't like to think of people as targets.
What do you miss from home?

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? The culture's something to marvel. [Sarcasm. It's sort of her thing.]

Least favorite? I don't think you got the memo on human trafficking.

What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? [A half-hearted shrug]

Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? [She chuckles bitterly, brow arching as she just stares at the screen as if silently asking them if they think she's an idiot.]

What do you miss from home? Justice.

Anything you would like to add? [She just gets up, sets the wine glass on her seat and leaves. There are several cracks in the glass and once the door closes it falls apart.]

Least favorite? The whole lack of human rights thing is a big one.
What do youthink of the newest winner? Who else could win? [She just sort of stares blankly for a few minutes.] I don't have an answer to that.

Eliot smiled at the screen.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol? "The food. Definitely the food."
Least favorite? "Probably not havin' any downtime. Either we're in the Arena or we're trainin' or we're goin' to a party. Not that I don't enjoy it but it does get exhaustin' after a while."

What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win? "I haven't really spoken to 'im yet so I can't say much about him. Who else? Well, any of us. That is the point, ain't it?"

Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? "My allies? My brother and Parker. Targets... Pretty much everyone else, ultimately."

What do you miss from home? "There was this Irish pub. It's a nice place, really friendly. I'd have ta say that bar."

Anything you would like to add? "Not really."

Least favorite? The food.

Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets? My family. I just got here, I don't have any targets.

She settles in as if she owns the place, sitting wide and purposely unladylike as she leans forward to grab the cup offered. They have ale here, too, and she sinks back in her seat to bring it to her lips. Hospitality laws weren't quite the same anymore, but then again, there was nothing to stop them from killing her at any time, whether she got her bread and salt or otherwise. She might as well enjoy the offering.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol?
She's getting used to the idea of these 'screens', but she still looks slightly disapproving behind the rim of the cup. She's much more comfortable talking in person, where she has a better idea of where she stands compared to the other person.

Still, it's time to play the guest, if not an exceedingly gracious one. "You've more food than the army and more battle twice over," she says, tilting the cup towards the woman apparently talking with her through the screen. Getting the hang of that, at least. "I'd like to thank my hosts, if I knew their names."

Least favorite?
She's expecting a response to what she just said, not another question, and the look on her face might give that away, like she's slightly bemused before proceeding. Am I being ignored, then, or can they not hear me at all? "It'd be so much more exciting if there were weapons straight from the start." And she would have a much better chance-- though, if those she talked to here were right, it might not make any difference whether she wins or not.

What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win?
The newest winner was, she's fairly certain, the little girl's psychopath. "I'd wanted the chance to fight him," she says, as that's all she knows of him-- she's not sure if she would have won, but the possibility makes her curious now.

Her smile is all confidence and secrets, and a little bit of violence. "I could."

Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets?
She has no allies here; the closest are people she won't go out of her way to kill. But Theon was right about one thing; it won't do to appear soft, even if she won't kill a few children to make things stay that way. "Allies?" she says, as if she doesn't know the word. "Whoever's in my way."

That goes double for you in charge.

What do you miss from home?
She pauses before this question, debating how best to phrase it. "Not much." Not anymore. "Pyke, the seat of my father's family, though I can't return there even if I was permitted to. Harlaw, on my mother's side, though I'm only slightly more welcome there. My throne, which I never got to sit, and my nuncle sitting in it, so I can revenge myself on him. My brother, perhaps, though not for his stunning personality." She pauses, not sure if she should say more, not sure if she can say more....

"How much time has passed since my arrival?" For that chance has likely come and gone, and with it her best chance of ever seeing any of what she wanted again.

Anything you would like to add?
"Are you listening, or is this talking to a brick wall?" she asks with a scowl, drinking surly. She might as well be, for all she knows. Still, she's not too concerned with it; she at least takes her time enjoying the food.

What's your favorite thing about the capitol?

He's still staring at the screen with doe eyes when the woman speaks. There's a visible jump before he collects himself and responds, in a soft, almost shy, tone, "The technology and modern conveniences, I suppose, all of which are much more advanced than the Paris of my memory."

Least favorite?

Umm. How to say this politely? "The Capitol is oftentimes a..." and he clasps his hands together, trembling a bit, which might come off as simple nervousness when it in fact is him attempting to keep his anger in check, "confusing place."

What do you think of the newest winner? Who else could win?

"I'm afraid I am not acquainted with this person, mademoiselle, nor am I familiar enough with the other Tributes to provide you with an appropriate response."

Who do you consider allies in the arena? Who do you consider targets?

Another pause, thoughtful. "I do not know."

What do you miss from home?

And his expression turns melancholy at that. There is one person he misses dearly, his reason for breathing and also the reason why he needs to die. He won't say her name, however; her memory, and the peace it brings, is something that's his alone. So instead, he says, "The dilapidated and beautiful garden of Rue Plumet."

Anything you would like to add?

"No. Thank you." And he gives a slightly embarrassed bow before he turns to leave.
