Who| Diana and OPEN
What| Diana is basically just trying to figure out the situation.
Where| Anywhere in the city, really, just make sure it's clear!
When| Between Arena's 5 and 6
Warnings/Notes| Nothing at the moment.
Diana was...unhappy, if the understatement could be forgiven. Taken from her bed, stripped of her powers, tossed into this world where she was meant to fight and kill for the entertainment of the ruling class...
Well, she was familiar with concept, obviously, but that didn't mean she liked it. And she liked even less what little she'd understood of the situation, of the history, before she'd been ushered to her quarters. As soon as she was left alone she was off, exploring the building, the city, anywhere she was allowed to go in search of answers. Of a crack in the prison walls.

This evening she was sitting in the Tribute Lounge, looking out of the windows and just relaxing as much as she could. While she liked the District 8 common rooms, she found that she liked more of the traffic and distractions here, even if she didn't talk to anyone that often.

"Is this seat taken?" she asked, indicating one nearby. She looked over the woman surreptitiously as she did so. The other didn't much look like a fighter, but appearances could be deceiving, and regardless, nobody should be forced to fight against their will, no matter their skill.

She looked over to the woman, shaking her head. "No, it's not." Not many people went out of their way to talk to anyone else around here, but Holiday didn't mind being ignored or being bothered during this time.

He was so engrossed in the visuals all around him he didn't notice the woman in front of him and collided with her. He pulled back and looked at her concerned.
"I am sorry, I did not see you." He said gruffly in apology.

"Are you from here?" He did expect she was but he didn't want to assume. He hadn't seen her in the last arena. He wondered if she knew what was awaiting her.

And while running till she was exhausted usually did the trick to cheer her up it had no such effect this time. So she had moved onto her next attempt. Stuffing her face.
Today found her strolling down one of the many city streets with a bag full of cakes and confectioneries from the tributes building. Because the best food you could have was free food.
Still even as she munched away on a cream puff and wondered if she would actually put on some weight finally she looked utterly, completely gloomy. Like a walking rain cloud in the otherwise cheerful, colorful, extravagant capital.

This could be for any number of reasons, but not even Diana's optimism could delude her into thinking it was anything other than the most likely. Still, no reason not to check. "Excuse me, miss? I'm sorry, I think I'm a little lost. Are you at all good with directions?"

"Uh...not really..." Once the question settled in her mind it ouccured to Sandy she barely knew the city outside of the tower. Finding her way back to the tower had been mostly luck to this point.
"I'm not from around here." She added realizing that just the first part might be thought rude.

I'm actually watching the Wonder Woman Animated Movie right now. Good times.
A good decision always
I was pleased with how they didn't shy away from brutality
Ooh, yes. It had flaws, but man the fight scenes were awesome
Nathan Fillion too. I could listen to that man snark about the phonebook

...Though he really wished he could finish his sushi.

Well. It's pretty high up there, just with the combined factors of the giant turtle and the sushi, but still, she's got experience with this sort of thing. So when she entered the sushi place, in need of some fuel if she was going to continue her explorations, to see a giant turtle she didn't even blink.
Alright, so she stared a little, but thoughtfully, and after a moment went over to him, leaning close as she spoke, "I don't wish to intrude, but if you like, I can sit next to you and pretend we are eating together. It won't hold off everyone, but sometimes they'll hesitate to ask if they see you're with someone else."

It was pretty obvious she wasn't Capitol, just by the way she spoke. He'd noticed that the people of the Capitol had a certain way of speaking, and this woman was...not speaking that way. Not even taking into consideration her looks, which were also very not Capitol. So he motioned for her to take a seat next to him.

Until the Living people pile into his elevator. It didn't stop surprising him when they walked in, gave him a curious look at the muzzle, but still pushed themselves in to stand next to him.
R stared.
He was still staring at the next person came on, a tall Living woman with thick black hair that a zombie could grab onto, longer than even Julie's. R was finding this Invasion of the Living interestingly stressful now, enough to open his mouth and croak:
"What...floor?"

"This?" R points at the elevator. He shrugs and grunts. "Nice. Good times."
Look, he's even grinning, sort've. It's the kind of grin that sends the few fans he has running for the hills or to the other Tributes. You're kind of okay, lady.

He gave her a friendly smile, because she was someone he had not seen yet, and wanted to try to greet where when he ended up clumsily dropping a couple of the tapes on the floor. At least they had protective cases and didn't crack, but it was still a little embarrassing to make a fool of himself like that.
"Oh, sorry," he said, as his smile grew a little embarrassed. He bent to pick up the one that had fallen into her path and balanced the others carefully in his arms to stop them from joining the two that had fallen onto the floor.

After his performance in the last arena, though, it's not like anyone is clambering for his autograph.

But she needed to get her bearings and other Tributes were, on the whole, much more talkative and frank than the Citizens, so she came up beside him at what seemed an opportune moment. "You know," she started, conversationally. "I can't say I'm too fond of this city so far, but I can't deny they are a very creative people."
no subject
"Creative?"
He was cool rolling without introductions if she was, and it seemed pretty obvious to him that she wasn't one of the Capitol citizens.

Darius was wiping down the floor-to-ceiling glass in the elevator. He'd have been long down, except that every time a tribute or citizen stepped in, he had to stop, fading into a corner with his cleaning supplies tucked out of the way.
