The shocking and thrilling adventures!
Who| Everyone
What| The Capitols oh so exclusive interviews~!
Where| Primarily the common areas, but the interviews would be on every TV everywhere.
When| This evening, at 6 pm sharp
Notes| Use this post to ICly react to the interviews (if you don't make plans of your own!)
The advertisements hit hard today. Tune in at 6 o'clock, you won't want to miss this special! Everywhere a person could look, it was there, and the city was clearly excited for whatever this mystery event was.
As if that wasn't enough, escorts were encouraging Tributes to be in the commons, and a small feast of finger foods was laid out along one wall, extra avoxes available for drinks.
And, as promised, at 6 pm sharp, all the TVs flickered to the ever flashy Caesar, on an equally flashy tabloid-tastick reality style "interview" of the tributes. All the TVs in the common area light up with it, as well as the Districts suites, even if the TV had been off before.
Hope you all enjoy your dose of fame!

He frowned as the program started. This wasn't what had been asked, not at all. He sat on the sofa looking like he would very much like it to open up and eat him whole, his face red.
"But they weren't even the questions..."
Information had been very restricted in No. 6, but not so much twisted like this. Celebrities and gossip didn't really exist.

He was standing some ways beside him when he overheard the comment, and he gave the boy a sidelong glance. The expression of the boy that most likely mirrored his made him want to either sympathize with him or run far, far away. This time around, he chose the first option.
It took him a few tries to overcome his timidity and actually speak. "That had not been my question, as well," he managed to say after an initial stutter.

"That was the strangest thing I have ever seen."
no subject
"Are people truly entertained by this?"
no subject
"It seems to be important here... I don't really understand it."
no subject
"This is a strange world." That was all he could say on the subject, really.
And then his eyes widened, as if suddenly reminded of something. With flushed face, he turned back to the boy and said, "I am sorry. I had failed to introduce myself. I am Marius Pontmercy."
no subject
Then he gave a small smile, "It is nice to meet you Marius Pontmercy. I'm Shion."
no subject
Again, he did not smile in response, but the sincerity was evident enough in his voice. His natural timidity did not permit him to say anything more, however, and he began to fidget, his eyes cast to the ground.

"Yes, I suppose." There was a beat, followed by, "And you?"

There was another awkward pause before he cleared his throat and grasped for something else to say.
"And..." He really was terrible at this, wasn't he. "And what district have you been sorted into?"

Misinformation was actually pretty interesting, in whatever way it was done. "No, they weren't. Trust me, they wouldn't have made a commercial with what I said if they'd shown what the question was," Cindy remarked with a smile.

He was glad to see her though, it was nice to see a friendly face.

Maybe she should have thought about that question a little more before answering. But she had carefully monitored her other ones, and she didn't think they could get anything from that one. She rolled her eyes.
"What about you? What questions did they ask you?"

She looked over at the groups sitting on the couches. "Honestly, I think this could all be worse."

"And I don't want to have you die in my arms, so. This was a good thing!"
no subject
Because despite seeing it as inevitable and despite knowing he would return, Shion didn't really want to die.
