Unexpected turn of events
Who | Pruna and anyone
What | The kid wakes up from death and... freaks a little because despite the many hints she hadn't quite got the memo that death isn't permanent. She proceeds to have a tantrum
Where | Her room on the twelfth floor but mostly the tribute lounge
When | Once she is released into the capitol
Warnings/Notes | Mentions of death, also she is quite angry and may lash out, but obviously isn't armed. Let me know if that's okay or not though!
The girls first response to waking up in the clean sterile room was to scream. Loudly. She had died, for real, it had hurt. Yet now nothing hurt, her foot was fine, her arm no longer burned, she wasn't even hungry. So she screamed and she struggled and demanded answers until she worked out that she would be kept in this room until she was calm.
So she grasped out and found the emptiness, it was hard because she was so confused but she managed it. Clinging onto it, barring out all the emotions and locking them away from her. Eyes blank she managed to convince them that she was calm.
She wasn't though, they had told her that she had been brought back, so she could fight again. That she would have to go into one of those arenas again. And try and live all over again, they had ignored her demands to be sent back home to her sister.
The moment she was safely in her room she dropped the emptiness. She tried to do it slowly, to let the emotions in one by one but she really wasn't that good at it yet and she slipped, letting the rage and fear swarm back into her, sweeping her away with it.
She screamed again and kicked the wardrobe, pulled the sheets off the bed, punched the mattress, threw her shoes at the wall. Mindless destruction, the room she had found so pretty when she had arrived now being a symbol of her captivity.
She didn't really want to be dead, but she didn't want to be here either, she had hoped that in her next rebirth she would manage not to be kidnapped by another world.
She just wanted to see her sister again. It wasn't fair, she didn't want to be in this stupid place.
She threw things around a bit longer before storming out her room and down the stairs, kicking walls as she went.
She was planning on just storming out of the building, on seeing how far she could get because surely this stupid city had to end somewhere and even if she couldn't get to her own world somewhere had to be better than here.
But as she marched through the lounge she stopped in her tracks. In the day or two before she had been sent to the arena she had seen a lot of strange things, and not understood them all, or taken it all in.
So she stared at the... well it was moving, and she recognised that place... she had just come from there, and she had seen some of those people. She marched over, kicking any pieces of furniture she passed on the way and began to examine it, trying to look behind, how was it seeing the arena and why was it seeing the arena...

She eyed the fruit and the controller suspiciously, wondering what the other girl wanted from her.
no subject
"Relax already. We just died. I don't wanna do anything but enjoy not being dead." She took an apple with shiny blue spots on it and bit into it, crunching and munching away.
no subject
She glared at the girl again, still not understanding anything and not really knowing the concept of relaxing.
"That do be looking poisonous."
no subject
She rolled her eyes again at the comment. "If it makes you feel better i'll take the first bite. But they want us alive so they can kill us again in a few weeks in the next arena."
no subject
She pressed buttons on the controller, the girl had said she could, it flicked from picture to picture, the sound went up and then disappeared altogether. "If we do be winning do they be sending us home?"
no subject
"Not that I've seen." She answered once she swallowed and began peeling a banana. "They just get to live here and help train the other tributes."
no subject
The controller took the brunt of it as she threw it across the room. "That do no be being fair."

How? She had no idea, she didn't have the faintest idea about how to rebel, but they had taken her without asking any of her guardians and she needed to get back to her sister.
no subject
Which meant they were already aware of the two girls and their hate for the situation.
"Two, they have way more power then we do. All the technology we can imagine and even more then that. I mean...they can bring us back from the dead. That's pretty big."
After a pause she added, "Not that I'm giving up."
no subject
"Do they be being magic?" She asked as she got to her feet and began looking around, under the table and behind the television, searching for cameras. "And can these cameras be being broken?"
no subject
no subject
"They can be punishing us all they like, we do be being stronger than them."
Somewhere in the last few moments she'd decided Sandy was on her side.
no subject
"Well, I think you're stronger then anyone can guess. Even you." After all from the sounds of it she was plenty dangerous already. And she had years to go before she reached her physical and mental peak didn't she?
no subject
She blinked, and shook her head. "I do no be needing to be being stronger."
She had died after all.
no subject
"You don't need to get any stronger?" She had thought warriors were always obsessed with getting stronger.
oops, her dialect gets me muddled sometimes
She was a little preoccupied in her camera hunt.
"But I might be able to be beating them, I do no be knowing how strong they do be being."
No worries. I'm just surprised Sandy turned things around. I had not predicted that.
"Too bad they probably heard all of this and know just how much we HATE them." She shouted into what she thought might be a hidden microphone hoping to deafen someone.
pfft I have no idea how she managed it, but hopefully it sticks
She tilted her head at Sandy. "Does your power be working now?"
no subject
Climbing down from the table she contemplated simply smashing the lamp to feel better. "Stupid technology."
no subject
no subject
"We'll figure something out. It's just like playing a game on the hardest difficulty."
no subject
She didn't understand Sandy's words but nodded anyways. "We will be, we do just be needing a plan and to be being smart about it."
no subject
"Most of the smarter people I've talked to said the best course of action is to gather information. The more we know about this place and the people in charge, the more we can use against them." She explained thinking back to Diana, Blaine, and even Sherlock.
