OPEN Valentine's Day Plot
WHO | Everyone
WHAT | Baron sends Valentine's Day gifts to Tribute Tower.
WHEN | Valentine's Day!
WHERE | Tribute Tower
WARNINGS / NOTES | Warnings for drug use and all of the things that go with that. Possibly also sexual themes. The OOC post for this is here.

On the morning of February 14th when the Tributes come down for breakfast they're greeted by an impressive holiday themed spread. Pink and red baked goods, chocolates shaped like hearts, beautiful red and pink flowers, adorable stuffed animals all line the table.
On the table is also a sign in cursive that reads:
To our beloved Tributes, Victors, Mentors, Escorts and Stylists. Enjoy your holiday. -- Bartlett Industries
Most of the sweets are completely harmless, but if the Tributes taste the chocolate covered cherries or caramels they find themselves suddenly acting very strangely...

"Quite." He said, the word as flat as his expression. He took another chocolate. "Where has my mind gone? Mixing up my barbaric atrocities..."

"I'm a little surprised they still celebrate Valentine's Day here," he said. "It's supposed to be so far in the future. Traditions have a way of sticking around but I thought they'd at least have changed some of the ways they celebrated."

"I suppose it fits. A culture entirely devoted to distraction, consumerism and hedonism? Can you think of a more appropriate holiday for them?"

"Not to mention the fact that they seem to like tacky colors," Blaine mentioned, thinking of some of the clothing styles he had seen out there. Though he had been known for putting together weird pattern choices in his clothes, there was something to be said about a woman who would dye her skin bright pink. He picked up a cookie that was frosted with the very same color.

"It's enough to make my eyes feel like they're bleeding," He complained lowly as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
He paused for a second. "Where did you get the chocolates?"

"A drug? Do you know what kind?" Now that the idea had been put into his head he thought that it explained why he was so warm and why the urge to be friendly with everyone had come over him. He even wanted to touch Sherlock, when he was sure that Sherlock wouldn't appreciate that kind of affection.

Chocolate in hand, he strode back towards the kitchen to see if he could build himself a make-shift chemistry set.

There was a moment where he thought he would get away without trying to nose in but the worry had to override the part of him that said he should leave Sherlock to do things on his own. "Are you sure that's wise though? You don't even know what's in them."

He took the chocolates and carefully put them in the fridge before he started to pull out a wealth of pots and pans and cooking supplies.
"Though it is likely impossible to determine anything of use, from here. -don't even have a microscope- But at the least we may be able to separate it from the chocolate and get a closer look. Maybe."
