OPEN Valentine's Day Plot

WHO | Everyone
WHAT | Baron sends Valentine's Day gifts to Tribute Tower.
WHEN | Valentine's Day!
WHERE | Tribute Tower
WARNINGS / NOTES | Warnings for drug use and all of the things that go with that. Possibly also sexual themes. The OOC post for this is here.

On the morning of February 14th when the Tributes come down for breakfast they're greeted by an impressive holiday themed spread. Pink and red baked goods, chocolates shaped like hearts, beautiful red and pink flowers, adorable stuffed animals all line the table.

On the table is also a sign in cursive that reads:

To our beloved Tributes, Victors, Mentors, Escorts and Stylists. Enjoy your holiday. -- Bartlett Industries

Most of the sweets are completely harmless, but if the Tributes taste the chocolate covered cherries or caramels they find themselves suddenly acting very strangely...

"Absolutely no idea." Sherlock said, launching himself from the couch and striding back to the chocolates to grab one. He didn't have any equipment, but...

Chocolate in hand, he strode back towards the kitchen to see if he could build himself a make-shift chemistry set.

Blaine frowned at the food he had brought up and then moved to the kitchen after Sherlock to throw it all away. He wasn't about to give the other Tributes something that was laced.

"STOP!" Sherlock nearly launched himself across the room before Blaine had a chance to toss the chocolates out. "Do you know how long I've gone without nicotine in this god forsaken place? Put that down!"

Blaine was surprised by that and paused. "Oh, sorry," he said. He handed the chocolates over to Sherlock. He didn't approve of drug abuse but he wasn't about to tell Sherlock how to live his life. "Here."

There was a moment where he thought he would get away without trying to nose in but the worry had to override the part of him that said he should leave Sherlock to do things on his own. "Are you sure that's wise though? You don't even know what's in them."

"I'm not about to swallow them all. Of course I want to know what's in them. But there's no point sacrificing them before we've collected the data, is there?"

He took the chocolates and carefully put them in the fridge before he started to pull out a wealth of pots and pans and cooking supplies.

"Though it is likely impossible to determine anything of use, from here. -don't even have a microscope- But at the least we may be able to separate it from the chocolate and get a closer look. Maybe."

"Do you think it's possible to get you a microscope? I mean, they have to have those here, right? We're in the future after all." Blaine moved a little closer to Sherlock, almost bordering on invading his personal space. In the times they been around each other Blaine had always given Sherlock more than enough space but the drugs in his system were leading him to think it was a good idea to break that a bit.
