One // He’s just a bit of a fixer-upper
Who; Kristoff and Open, with parts for Elsa, Anna and Hans
What; Kristoff has arrived and technology is baffling also finding out who is here.
Where; The tribute center
When; Backdated to 7/31
Warnings/Notes; N/A?
He should have kicked up more of a fuss he thinks now. Sure, those white knights had seemed pretty threatening, definitely not people to mess with but now Kristoff is feeling a little ashamed of himself. Who knows, maybe he could have taken them and found his way out. But then there's the question of where he even is, Panem not a country he's ever heard of. It can't be that far from Arendelle though, he almost certain he wasn't out for that long. But it's such a strange place, and not just for this whole supposedly fight to the death business.
He leaves his communicator behind in the room they've given him, determined to get so actual answers that make sense. But it's only shortly into this all that he starts getting confused, the technology far beyond what he's used to. He pauses in the common area of District 2 to stare at the screens, jumping slightly when the screens start to move and. Oh. Oh, that was someone dying, he's sure of it even if the screen has moved on. Carefully he takes a step back, looking uneasy as he leaves.
And he spends the day wandering, looking around with a sort of confused amazement. Eventually he manages to get the courage to dash onto the elevator when another person gets in, though he's clearly out of his element, grip on the bar along the side tight. This is so very strange, and though he'd be loathe to admit it, it's terrifying.
Another notable place he can be found is the kitchen. It was an accident really, he had just pressed the little leaver on the silver box out of curiosity, jumping when the light clicked on and a whirring sound came out. But then, a little cube of ice falls out, and just to test it, Kristoff presses the lever again. And then he holds it down, ice dropping rapidly, bouncing off his hand to scatter across the floor, and yeah he is grinning a little, clearly excited by this at least. At least he is, until the ice runs out, Kristoff looking confused as he presses the button a few more times.
Anyone care to clue a technologically impaired kid in?

Closed to Elsa
But knowing that Elsa's here gives him a mission to complete, and so he heads off to find her. It's the least he can do, really, and while he knows she's not really someone who needs protecting, not with all she can do, there's a part of him that knows it's what's right. And not just because he knows it's what Anna would want.
Eventually he manages to find the District 9 suites and when one tribute leaves he takes the chance to step in, looking around. He could call out, maybe, but something makes him hold back. Instead he just looks around, clearly searching for someone.

Closed to Anna
This time he's a little uncertain, stepping into District 4 with a little less unease. Anna knows him, he's certain, unlike Elsa who hadn't recognised him at all. But still there's still some tangle of uncertainty in his gut as he looks around for that red hair, calling "Anna?" out softly before pausing, turning slowly. "Anna, are you here?"

Closed to Hans
It's a sense of protectiveness that makes him hunt the Prince down. He hadn't been able to get to him in time to stop Anna from catching the blow of his sword as she froze, and he had respected Anna's desire to be the one to hit Hans. But he's going to make it clear to Hans, here and now that he's not to come near or interfere at all with Elsa and Anna.
And it's pretty clear what he intends to do as he storms up to Hans, cold anger in his eyes, fingers balled into loose fists.
"You."

As such, Kristoff is immediately identifiable as someone new when Thor steps out from his room and into the commons. He gives him an appraising look, but he soon feels pity for the boy when he seems so utterly put out by the screens.
"Good morning." He says carefully, trying not to look imposing in his approach.

"Ice, ice baby." He points casually at Kristoff, narrowing his eyes behind his shades at him. He looks like someone you don't forget fast, but he hasn't seen him around before. New people have been coming in more and more lately and its kind of hard not to remember the 'strong, tall and blond' description Anna gave him. "Kristoff?" It'll be embarrassing if he's wrong, but fuck it.

Although he finds himself staring for a moment, he quickly notices there's ice falling all over the floor, and he clears his throat.
"You might want to grab a cup to put that in, unless you're attempting to watch people slip and fall."
He's less than amused about the idea, but hey. He'll walk around the ice and the man, going for an empty glass.

Well, she can't say she's surprised.
"Pretty sure there's an ice rink in town if you're that desperate."

"Oh!" she let's out a surprised cry but manages to recover her balance quickly.
But instead of getting mad at Kristoff for making a dangerous mess, she looks at the small cubes at her feet in a wonder.
"Ice! At this time of summer! "
