One // He’s just a bit of a fixer-upper
Who; Kristoff and Open, with parts for Elsa, Anna and Hans
What; Kristoff has arrived and technology is baffling also finding out who is here.
Where; The tribute center
When; Backdated to 7/31
Warnings/Notes; N/A?
He should have kicked up more of a fuss he thinks now. Sure, those white knights had seemed pretty threatening, definitely not people to mess with but now Kristoff is feeling a little ashamed of himself. Who knows, maybe he could have taken them and found his way out. But then there's the question of where he even is, Panem not a country he's ever heard of. It can't be that far from Arendelle though, he almost certain he wasn't out for that long. But it's such a strange place, and not just for this whole supposedly fight to the death business.
He leaves his communicator behind in the room they've given him, determined to get so actual answers that make sense. But it's only shortly into this all that he starts getting confused, the technology far beyond what he's used to. He pauses in the common area of District 2 to stare at the screens, jumping slightly when the screens start to move and. Oh. Oh, that was someone dying, he's sure of it even if the screen has moved on. Carefully he takes a step back, looking uneasy as he leaves.
And he spends the day wandering, looking around with a sort of confused amazement. Eventually he manages to get the courage to dash onto the elevator when another person gets in, though he's clearly out of his element, grip on the bar along the side tight. This is so very strange, and though he'd be loathe to admit it, it's terrifying.
Another notable place he can be found is the kitchen. It was an accident really, he had just pressed the little leaver on the silver box out of curiosity, jumping when the light clicked on and a whirring sound came out. But then, a little cube of ice falls out, and just to test it, Kristoff presses the lever again. And then he holds it down, ice dropping rapidly, bouncing off his hand to scatter across the floor, and yeah he is grinning a little, clearly excited by this at least. At least he is, until the ice runs out, Kristoff looking confused as he presses the button a few more times.
Anyone care to clue a technologically impaired kid in?

"District... 9?" He thinks that's the one he found her in, but in truth he had been more focused on finding familiar faces than recalling details like that. But Dave gives more of a time frame than Elsa's vague 'months' and in truth it... sickens him. How they have such abilities like this... he's never wanted Grand Pabby more, Kristoff is sure he'd have some knowledge on how to fix this.
Brow still furrowed he looks up, studies Dave before speaking. "And you've been... looking after them? After Anna?"

"Yep, that's us. She was one of the first people I bumped into." He's doing pretty good, Dave is pretty sure he forgot his own district several hundred times before it stuck in his memory.
"That's one way to put it, I guess. We've been taking care of each other. Kind of helps to have a little support group around here." He lifts his shoulders in a small shrug. "Guess you're part of ours now."

Memorising the numbers of the districts of Elsa and Anna was the least he could do in truth. He was naturally going to keep and eye on Anna, and that care would extend to Elsa. After all, she's someone whose important to Anna, and as antisocial as he is, one of Kristoff's main goals in ensuring Anna has some measure of happiness, even here.
"Ok." It's pretty simple in truth. Anna... sometimes, can be too trusting, but she'd been getting better, and Elsa's trust seems harder to earn. So if both of them seemed to trust the boy then he doesn't really have a reason to grow suspicious. He'll check later, sure, but for now he just gives a slight nod, looking a touch more awkward. "Thank you. For that, that is."
