She didn't know what to do with herself right now. No Peeta, No Haymitch. No one was in this room with her. So she just wandered, leaving the room that looked too much like her room on the train for her liking. She wanted more than anything to be back in District 12. She'd even stay in her house in Victor's Square without complaint if that wish was granted to her.

She hated everything about the Capitol with every fiber of her being. Yet, she would continue to follow Haymitch's advice from her first games: Stay alive. And so she walks with quiet, sure, steps with that thought in mind.

Stay alive.

"Oh." Thanks Effie. She sighs, letting Effie look around for someone to remedy such a travesty as her face. Far be it for her to put a damper on things. It was Effie's job to get her sponsors as much as it was Haymitch's

"Here, just sit here." Effie gestured to a chair, before rushing back to her room to grab a few things. Katniss was much darker than Effie, but she had a feeling she could manage with what she had.

Hurrying back, heels tapping, she dumped a handful of makeup, hair pins and more on the small end table next to Katniss.
