The stylists saw them as people to dress up, well perhaps not Cinna but the rest, the escorts saw them as part of their job, the people in the Capitol saw them as warriors, people from the television technologies.

"In the Capitol we're like...dolls. Toys that can be dressed up, mashed against each other till our pieces come off. Then they just put us back together like a broken toy and put a new dress on us." She knew how much Pruna hated the dressing up part.
"It's like...they don't even care that we've never won the games for them. You know they get extra food and stuff if we win right? I thought for sure they'd hate me because I keep barely surviving while everyone else is being badass."

"They do be?" She looked around at the people, "I think they do be needing more food." It was not as poor as some parts of Gauig, but she knew enough of this world to see the inequality between here and the Capitol.

"Come on, I feel like dancing with you!" She decided on a whim. It was nice not to have to worry about things or think about what everyone else was planning to do to her behind her back. Things were more simple in this district. She could just have fun with Pruna for a night without thinking of how many cameras were watching it happen.
