Some, too, was happy to stick with the familiar. He was not popular here; he'd always performed poorly in The Games for District Eight, and Two wasn't happy to have wound up with him. Avoiding the tables with food and the locals with drink, he found himself near Blaine, and somewhat near the band.

"Do you know what kind of music this is?"

Blaine shook his head. "I've been keeping up with music in the Capitol, but it's a little different here," he said. He smiled over at Some, pleased to be in his company.

"That's one of the things I can't bring myself to stop enjoying," he said. "I should hate everything about this world, but it gives me the chance to hear music I wouldn't hear any where else."

He smiled, genuine. "I like that too. There's a lot here that's a little wonderful."

"Yeah," Blaine said with a nod. "There's the people you meet too. I would never have met a grue back home."

Some's smiles flashed, double arcs of white teeth against the black. "I would hope not."
