Who| Everyone
What| A chance for the teams to meet, mingle, and, lets be honest, for goodbyes to be said.
Where| The common area.
When| Evening before the attack, about a day after Creuntus' network announcement.
Warnings/Notes| Time is going to be a littlemore wonky then normal, if you haven't noticed. They will be going out to attack "tomorrow" but that thread will not, likely, be posted tomorrow, to give people time to play in this one, etc.
There is food and drink, plenty of it, but no decoration, and it is clear this "party" is no sort of celebration. There is the small spattering of Peacekeepers still in the Capitol, those not on duty at the edge of the boundary.
A long table at the front has a set up for each team. Everyone has a folder with who is in their team, who is watching their team, a list of the various weapons they will have. On the list is a flame thrower, a handful of small explosives, and an automatic weapon for each team member. There are no weapons laid out for the Tributes to handle, however - those were waiting for them elsewhere, for when the mission truly started. Nor does the folder mention that the weapons all switch off outside of the combat area, but it's also not a secret, or a surprise.
Each folder also includes the rather useless stats and images they have of the creatures-the photos are blurry, the stats mainly stack up to "they are very deadly" and a collection of the various bits of information put forth by other tributes who seem to know more then the Capitol. Last, a detailed map of both the neighborhood, and the tunnels for them to study.
Another table has folders for the intel, with much of the same information. Last, a third table is set up for those that are staying at home. Those folders contain some basic first aid information, and a list with what sort of basic medical supplies and food stuff is in the training center.
Each table set up has an Avox or two to hand out the folders. Creuntus is no where to be seen, and you would be lucky to catch any of her team. She knows where she doesn't want to be. The furniture has been dragged to facilitate the conversation of small to medium sized groups. Say, about the size of a team and their Intel.

"Don't you be dyeing either Ashley." She poked Pruna in the head the same way. "You're braver then me, but that doesn't mean you can be reckless."
There was a pause and then. "Hey...I wanna try something so like...don't freak out."
Best introduction ever. Either way slowly, carefully like she was afraid of getting stabbed for it. Sandy put her arms around Pruna and drew her into a hug.
With her last bit of courage, a kiss on the cheek.
Surely somewhere there was someone finding this adorable.

She had no idea what this gesture meant or why Sandy was doing it now but she had worked out that most things in Sandy's world like handshakes, high fives and hugs were meant to be reciprocated.
So she turned her head and kissed Sandy back on the cheek, standing on her tiptoes to do so.

"Girlfriends do that sort of thing sometimes. If it feels good." She didn't let go of the hug just yet. Something about having that little ball of muscles and death this close to her was comforting.
no subject
That still wasn't right, but it was all very new to Pruna and she didn't have the words to describe what she was feeling at all.
no subject
"Well good. Then you can have kisses whenever you want too. Girlfriends like making each other feel good." Apparently anyway.
"I asked Blaine what we should do, he said a bunch of stuff about understanding each others feelings. I think that's probably important but the most important thing is we are happy and have fun together. Look out for each other. So...we're already pretty great girlfriends." She declared.
no subject
"What do you be feeling then?" Because surely she had to know in order to understand.
no subject
"Better. Much better. I still think this is a stupid mission if I don't get to do it with you...but I'm less afraid."
A pause.
"Also I think it's cute when you wrinkle your nose up like that."
She tried to mimic the expression.
no subject
She frowned at the next part though, "It do no be being cute." She wrinkled her nose again, despite herself.
no subject
"Yeah, you're cute. But that just makes you even more deadly. People underestimate cuteness. And then you can stab them in the neck." She pointed out using one of Pruna's kills in the arena as an example.

no subject
"Really? Come on I saw how you killed her on TV. She was an idiot for turning her back on you like that! She underestimated you."
And with that thread of logic Sandy was left wondering if she was now a terrible person.
no subject
She rolled her eyes, because how that girl had gotten as far as she had in the arena was beyond Pruna.
no subject
"And when you're older I'm sure you'll be all muscles and scars. Cool looking scars that tell everyone who looks at you that you could totally kill them dead."
no subject
"And you will be having no scars because I will be being your warrior and killing everything dead before they can be hurting you."
no subject
"And I'll be supporting you the way a good priestess should...however I'm supposed to do that. With magic or whatever." She grinned impishly.

no subject
"Do you think she'd like me?"
no subject
no subject
"Then I really do have to get stronger to make sure she likes me even though my face leaks." She laughed hopefully. "After all if you like her I like her."

Annnnd I'm out of ideas. Call it a fade to black from here?
Yup!
