Who: Yukiya and OPEN
Where: Tribute Tower
When: During the first week of the new Arenas.
What: Yukiya arrives as a new mentor after the Arena has started. He gets accustomed to being back in Tribute Tower and tries to get a hand on how things run now.
Warnings: None yet
The District Suite was painfully silent when Yukiya brought in his things. He took over a room for a mentor and unpacked right away. He had only brought one suitcase up with him, only of the things from District 7. His new clothes were due to arrive later that day.
After everything was settled in, he moved down to the main common areas. Some of the mentors were away, doing work on behalf of their Tributes in the two Arenas, though there were still some here too. There was a group with Stylists and other staff too, all watching the Games as they took a break or ate or did something else to waste time before their next meeting. Yukiya wasn't sure if he was allowed to join them or not. He was a mentor now, but he thought that maybe they wouldn't welcome him within their ranks.
Instead, he sort of stood off to the side nervously and watched the images on the televisions. The desert one was difficult for him to watch, so when it came onto the screen he would look away. It was too much like the Arena he had been in and the memory of it made him feel a little sick.

"I'm on Two."

"Oh. That's a nice District isn't?"

"Oh right! I forget that you new Tributes haven't seen your Districts... I went there once, during my Victory Tour. I didn't see much of it, but it's a nice place."

"Well, they have a big mountain that they use to train Peacekeepers. It's really impressive. They're a lot more wealthy than District 7 too." To be honest, Yukiya had felt like they didn't like him much considering how he had won, but at least it had been nice to see what the other Districts were like.

"You, um, you haven't had a good time with them?" Yukiya asks with a slight frown. "I'm sorry."

"I don't blame you," he agreed. "They can be a little intimidating, but that's they're job. You have to make sure everyone is safe."

"Oh... What do you mean?" Yukiya seemed uncertain for a moment. "You don't have to be safe from them do you?"
no subject
Kevin shrugged. "Shouldn't. But I thought they weren't supposed to do anything to us out of the Arena, either."
no subject
"Oh, well, the Capitol has always liked their Victors. That's not that bad though, is it?"
no subject
Kevin shook his head. "They killed one of them already." It doesn't matter why. They killed her and it was worse than anything Yvette had ever done to him.

Yukiya is quiet then, because he doesn't know what to say. He just looks a little sad as he watches Kevin.

"Are... are you a rebel?" Yukiya asked, a little shocked by the idea.
no subject
"Am I a...?" He's shocked by the question. "Of course not. I don't want to be next. Dying once was bad enough."
no subject
"Then... You don't have to worry about it right?"

"Well... here you're not in a desert?" Ayase pointed out after a moment.

"But they won't! You're not a rebel, remember?"
