WHO| EVERYONE!
WHAT| A party. A big one. 1 is cheering Max on and going all out.
WHEN| The day before the end of the Games.
WHERE| All the open banquet rooms in the Training center.
NOTE| Party post tag in.
The acid rain theme was still going strong.
In the main banquet hall a light rain feel over the whole room. Tents and awning were set up all over, and each guest was given a clear umbrella, the handle and ribs lighting up a rainbow of colors.
Light caught the rain, turning it colors as it fell, and huge ice sculptures dotted the rooms, "dissolving" as the way ran over them. District 1 had decided, at least, to aim for abstract sculptures, feeling replicas of the tributes might go a bit too far.
The food was, as always, extravagant and over the top. Blues and greens, fruits, juices, and succulent seafood's.
And, as always, everyone who was anyone was there.

Ah yes, the bubble girl. He had actually hoped he'd run into her eventually. Rumor had it that she never took her suit off. He had half a mind to pick her brain about self-cleaning air filtration systems, but at the very lest the little lady should have a drink first.
Unfortunately, he was fresh out of straws at the moment.
"Not personally, no, but I'm sure we can figure something out," he says with a grin.

Three fingers. Bird legs.
Yea of course he'd seen her in the games. He thinks the Capitol had done some feature on her like it seemed they had the rest of the tributes, but maybe he'd been to drunk to realize the differences Tali possessed.
He looked to Tony at his response when he realized how he managed to just shrug off those things. Haymitch could do that. Totally. There had been a giant fucking turtle walking around for the last couple of weeks. Haymitch could handle another alien.
Maybe with some more alcohol....
He took a long drink before responding, "We just gotta find an Avox. They'll get you whatever you want."

She also couldn't help but notice that one of them was very attractive, that didn't hurt her want to talk to them.

"It's Tali'Something, right?" he scours his brain for her name and only comes up with half of what he thinks might be right. He'd read over all the information about his fellow tributes that he could dig up, but for the majority of them it wasn't much.

He spoke to a near by Avox, asking the man to get her a straw. Soon enough the man was disappearing to find one, and Haymitch turned back to them to catch Tony's question. Tali'Something. Haymitch snorted. Didn't sound right, but she wasn't his tribute so it wasn't really his business to know.
"The question you should ask, Mr. Stark," Haymitch said, using his last name as a bit of a jab, "Is if you can call her Tali."

"My name is Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, well really it's Tali'Zorah Nar Rayya because the Rayya was the ship I was born on but.... Keelah." She cut off, she was babbling again. It was bound to happen. it just shouldn't have been thew second thing out of her mouth.
"Tali is more than fine." Resting her elbow on the bar, she dropped her head to her hand. This was a fine start to the first two nice people she had met here.

One of the creepy quite serving kids comes by with a straw soon enough and Tony plops it right into her new drink and sort of... stares for a moment. He's curious how she's going to pull this off without removing her helmet.

Haymitch pretends to not listen, rapping his glass against the counter-top as the two chatted. Best way to learn is to listen. And the best way to listen is to pretending to be a drunk so no one will care if you're around.
Not that Haymitch ever needed to pretend he was drunk. That came naturally.

"A space ship." She replied nonchalantly as if it should have been a question. "Do they even have those here?" There were many things that seems more advanced than home, and many things that seemed behind. It didn't lend to helping with figuring out where she was.

Tony laughs at himself as he takes a long drink. "Yeah. That would go over real well."
