The shocking and thrilling adventures!

Who| Everyone
What| The Capitols oh so exclusive interviews~!
Where| Primarily the common areas, but the interviews would be on every TV everywhere.
When| This evening, at 6 pm sharp
Notes| Use this post to ICly react to the interviews (if you don't make plans of your own!)

The advertisements hit hard today. Tune in at 6 o'clock, you won't want to miss this special! Everywhere a person could look, it was there, and the city was clearly excited for whatever this mystery event was.

As if that wasn't enough, escorts were encouraging Tributes to be in the commons, and a small feast of finger foods was laid out along one wall, extra avoxes available for drinks.

And, as promised, at 6 pm sharp, all the TVs flickered to the ever flashy Caesar, on an equally flashy tabloid-tastick reality style "interview" of the tributes. All the TVs in the common area light up with it, as well as the Districts suites, even if the TV had been off before.

Hope you all enjoy your dose of fame!

And at that utterance, Marius casts his eyes to the ground like a chastised puppy. He has been getting the vague feeling that he's gradually chipping at Enjolras's patience, and those words serve to confirm it. He does not mean to, certainly, which is why the embarrassment from both the interview and being the cause of Enjolras's irritation troubles him all the more.

Clearly, there is only one solution to this.

He steps back, looking almost ready to run off. "I... I must go." He turns, takes several steps away, stops abruptly as if suddenly reminded of something, then faces Enjolras again.

He gives the other man a short, excruciatingly awkward nod. "Thank you; I am grateful for your explanation."

It isn't actually Enjolras' intention to diminish or otherwise further upset Marius. Upon the realization of exactly what impact his tone has had upon the other man, the severity in his expression immediately eases. There's still a fierceness, as Enjolras knows no other way to react to their current situation, but it's less intense, less accusatory. His patience could take the beating if it were in the interest of reassuring his friend.

"If you must, Marius." Even his tone has changed to one slightly less authoritative. In instances like these, when all the righteous fury against an unjust and tyrannical government is coursing through him, it's easy for Enjolras to forget exactly how the small details of his presentation can effect others. He would have to be more considerate, more cautious. Surely that trait could be manipulated just as easily as his passion for rhetoric. "I hope you will take my words to heart. There's a sadness to the life of a hermit, one with which I am intimately familiar."

Marius purses his lips, looking considerably thoughtful as he considers Enjolras's words, and perhaps a little surprised at the brief insight into the type of person Enjolras is outside Les Amis. But even then, he could not envisage his sadness being alleviated, when both the absence of Cosette and her presence in the Capitol is something he did not desire all the same.

Nonetheless, he's thankful for the advice, so before he takes his leave he nods again, grateful this time. "I will."
