The shocking and thrilling adventures!
Who| Everyone
What| The Capitols oh so exclusive interviews~!
Where| Primarily the common areas, but the interviews would be on every TV everywhere.
When| This evening, at 6 pm sharp
Notes| Use this post to ICly react to the interviews (if you don't make plans of your own!)
The advertisements hit hard today. Tune in at 6 o'clock, you won't want to miss this special! Everywhere a person could look, it was there, and the city was clearly excited for whatever this mystery event was.
As if that wasn't enough, escorts were encouraging Tributes to be in the commons, and a small feast of finger foods was laid out along one wall, extra avoxes available for drinks.
And, as promised, at 6 pm sharp, all the TVs flickered to the ever flashy Caesar, on an equally flashy tabloid-tastick reality style "interview" of the tributes. All the TVs in the common area light up with it, as well as the Districts suites, even if the TV had been off before.
Hope you all enjoy your dose of fame!

He noticed a little but his brain was to fogged to work out why, to even contemplate the fact that Jay might be laughing. "At least someone likes it."

He can see Shion is totally wasted, which is a little funny. He does feel some sympathy, being a ridiculous lightweight himself.
no subject
Which didn't mean he approved of his stylists wish to change him.

And nothing about being looked at seemed bad at all. People noticing you meant you existed and were worthy of other people's time -- the reason didn't really matter in those cases. People engaging with you meant you mattered. But he really was not sure he could explain it at Shion.
"I really don't understand, dearest," he said, smoothly. "I mean ... are you some sort of ... subterranean eyeless creature turned humanoid? It's not like the gaze of ordinary people burns on contact or anything. They're hardly the Lord."
(By "the Lord" he meant, of course, the god of his and his mother's people, whose eye is the sun. The sun does burn, sometimes. Generally, however, it burns other people -- Jay has never known sunburn, being both a little too dark-skinned to burn and a little too busy with his necromantic studies to go outside during the day much.)

"People often mistake me for a demon though." He tugged at his whiter than snow hair, between that, his unusual eyes and his scar most people feared him, and the others tried to hit on him.
He'd much rather the former, he doesn't know how to deal with the latter, at least not without Rat to protect him.

"Why? You really don't display any signs of spirit heritage, darling," he says. "I mean, unless you've got eyes on your chest or something."
He taps the secondary eyes on his cheekbones, for emphasis. "Or do you bleed blue? I knew someone who did. It was a touch bizarre and really did ruin bar brawls."

"Yes, darling," he says. "These are indeed eyes. They're entirely decorative, don't worry. I'm too Flesh, so they're entirely blind."
Now, his father's spirit eyes were sighted, but he was a whole generation closer to great-grandmother, the fearsome spider spirit.

"I suppose I'm not. I mean, not very human. Less human than most people I know back home. Why, darling? I'm Flesh enough to know how human emotions work."

"I never met anyone not human before I came here. Except you know, animals and stuff. But they can't talk, which doesn't make them less worth getting to know. But it's not the same."
