The shocking and thrilling adventures!

Who| Everyone
What| The Capitols oh so exclusive interviews~!
Where| Primarily the common areas, but the interviews would be on every TV everywhere.
When| This evening, at 6 pm sharp
Notes| Use this post to ICly react to the interviews (if you don't make plans of your own!)

The advertisements hit hard today. Tune in at 6 o'clock, you won't want to miss this special! Everywhere a person could look, it was there, and the city was clearly excited for whatever this mystery event was.

As if that wasn't enough, escorts were encouraging Tributes to be in the commons, and a small feast of finger foods was laid out along one wall, extra avoxes available for drinks.

And, as promised, at 6 pm sharp, all the TVs flickered to the ever flashy Caesar, on an equally flashy tabloid-tastick reality style "interview" of the tributes. All the TVs in the common area light up with it, as well as the Districts suites, even if the TV had been off before.

Hope you all enjoy your dose of fame!

"They really had some fun with that."

Jim dangled a glass of something frothy in front of her. They could all use one tonight. Some way more than others, but Jim wasn't about to cast stones at people's ability to deal with bizarre and patently untrue publicity. Jim ate it up like a hobby. This wasn't even offensive to him, it was exactly what he'd wanted them to think of him.

Perhaps it can be used to her advantage, now that she thinks about it. For all intents and purposes, she doesn't look like much of a rebel. Maybe they're not onto her. The sight of a drink being offered snaps her out of her own little world, hoping it's Eliot holding that glass.

The guy holding the glass is definitely not him. Anna's never even met him before, but she recognizes him as a fellow tribute. Pardon the wary glance, but the last time she accepted food or drink from a stranger, she was drugged. "Can't say I'm surprised."

Jim is in no way offended. He lifts his shoulders and takes a sip of it, almost gagging.

"Shit that's sweet." He screws up his face and takes another sip.

"I was expecting a hell of a lot worse. Nice to be wrong about that."

She watches him drink, brow arching at his reaction. He looks like he doesn't even know what he has in his hand and she decides he appears safe enough, so she stands and swaps their drinks. Red wine is a lot less sweet than what he must be drinking, she thinks, taking a sip of the mystery cocktail curiously.

Watch her eyebrows raise the slightest bit when she tastes and sees that it is good. "I don't think there's any reason to make it worse," she says slowly, cautiously enough in case the stranger happens to be the untrustworthy sort.

"What is this?" Because it's delicious and you can't have it back now.

"People like them always find some reason," Jim mutters. They're taking their sweet time cooing and dissecting the footage like any of it was real. He had to give credit where credit was do, when they fucked around with people, they were extremely thorough.

Jim flashed her a bright grin. "I've got no idea. I just asked for whatever the girl before me ordered. That's the only way to try something new. Why? Like it? I can probably get you another one."
