The advertisements hit hard today. Tune in at 6 o'clock, you won't want to miss this special! Everywhere a person could look, it was there, and the city was clearly excited for whatever this mystery event was.
As if that wasn't enough, escorts were encouraging Tributes to be in the commons, and a small feast of finger foods was laid out along one wall, extra avoxes available for drinks.
And, as promised, at 6 pm sharp, all the TVs flickered to the ever flashy Caesar, on an equally flashy tabloid-tastick reality style "interview" of the tributes. All the TVs in the common area light up with it, as well as the Districts suites, even if the TV had been off before.

"Cannibalism isn't implying that you eat humans, dhur." You could not find a more shit-eating grin if you tried. She turns to Signless and motions to her stomach with a few pats. "What do you think? They've got a ways to go with me. I'm pretty safe, right?"
It takes a strong-willed troll not to start laughing right now. Terezi is barely keeping it restrained. "I'm not much more than a snack, I think. But if you're feeling a bit peckish, let me know! I might let you nibble a bit!"

Poor Donatello gets the worse end of her humor this time, though. She doesn't ask for any sort of permission before licking a short line up his arm with her grey tongue. She smacks her lips, deeply concentrating on the flavor before wrinkling her nose.
"Whoa, you're right. I'm pretty sure wasabi would be a nightmare in turtle soup. But as a garnish... That's an entirely different story. I'll have to get back to you on that."

Don immediately whipped his head at Terezi when he felt that tongue on his arm. He stared at her for a moment, mouth slightly agape. Just because they didn't actually eat people didn't mean they needed to...er...troll people over it!
"What are you..." Terezi's words made absolutely no sense. Was it troll terminology? Tastebud differences? "What?"
