Only happy when I'm with you [closed]
Who: Finnick Odair and Annie Cresta
What: Hopefully a peaceful meal together
Where: Random Capitol restaurant
When: First night of the Games
Finnick came up from the green room feeling far more drained than he had expected to. Emotionally he had been a wreck worrying about her and how she was doing. Also what others had seen. He was fairly confident with how they had handled their interaction, but he worried if he got too confident he would get sloppy. He couldn't have just left her there with the cheese alone as others stared and made the 'Oh, it's just Annie Cresta again' comments under their breath. Considering they'd all been through the same ordeals, it was never surprising how cold and apathetic some victors could be towards others.
He opened the door to their suite, that was a lot more empty now that the tributes were gone. He walked in and immediately noticed that the TV was on. The Games had quieted down and it was a lot of recaps and evaluating every tribute again. He knew turning it off wasn't an option so he made no effort to. It would just turn back on automatically.
"Annie?" He called out turning his attention from it to something he had been looking forward to for the past two hours. "You ready, sweetheart?"

slow buddies! o/
"And I love you," she echoes, whisper soft.
Slow buddies FTW!
He kisses the woman he wants to marry one day before pausing simply to admire her. There is more pleasure in being with her than he feels sexually in that moment. She truly is his world.
