I made a thread with a tag for each character, so just tag in there! if you'd like any of my other NPCs besides Katniss, just PM or private plurk me so we can hash it out real quick.

"Nothing they make is real, Lottie... It is just there to make us take risks for it."

"It wasn't real but it was my dream Some! It's what I've always wanted!"

She was in tears again. It hurt so bad because here...she couldn't even muster that dream.

He didn't know what to say. How would it feel if it had been his dream, his ideal of home and happiness, that they'd mocked and soaked in blood?

Even trying to imagine made his gut twist and ache. He tightened his arms around her, and cupped one cheek in his hand, soft-furred thumb brushing away a tear.

"Lottie... I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to say it wasn't."

"I know you didn't, I know, I'm just..."

She leaned into his palm with a deep sigh getting her sobs under control.

"I'm just so tired, Some. I'm worn down."

[gruesome]

He cupped her head in his hands, long fingers warm in her hair. "Do you sleep well? Or does the arena follow you out here in dreams?"

His comfort, and warmth was actually making sleep and dreams sound appealing for the first time in a long time.

"Sometimes." She mumbled.

[gruesome]

"Will you sleep better with company?" He would. The Capitol was desperately lonely sometimes.

[needsaprince]

"I think that would be nice."

It wouldn't be proper, but Some...it as so far from anything improper.

And she desperately needed the company.

"How do you sleep, dear?"

[gruesome]

"I curl up like a cat." He grinned, inviting her to smile too. "I used to have one, so I know."
