I made a thread with a tag for each character, so just tag in there! if you'd like any of my other NPCs besides Katniss, just PM or private plurk me so we can hash it out real quick.

Let me know if I can add anything, and I am down for minor assumptions/handwaving some things!

"Th-then how are you going to win!?"

"I guess I won't."

She managed to keep her tone aloof and snotty. Luckily she had lots of practice there, since it was a fact she was still struggling with.

"But...if you don't...! Jack's voice was becoming desperate. "Why would you leave the common people like that! The District depends on you winning!"

[needsaprince]

"There are a handful of much more likely winners in this very district, and I suggest you pour your energy into them." She huffed.

She was well aware she was throwing a tantrum, and cutting off her nose to spite her face right now. But she was just so tired of it all.

"I HAVE BEEN!" Jack's voice boomed, echoing through the room, and even the Avoxes winced. "But no one wants to listen to me! Why is everyone being so damn difficult about this!?"

[needsaprince]

"Because we're all too damn tired."

It wasn't often she used foul words, but...well, she was damn tired.

"THAT'S NOT AN EXCUSE!" Jack slapped his head.

[needsaprince]

"You play 6 death matches in a row and come talk to me about excuses."

She snorted at him, practically sticking her nose in the air.

"But you come back to life!" Jack just stared at her, bewildered. "You don't die forever!!"

[needsaprince]

"That isn't a magical spell that makes everything better, you know!" She snapped back, now beginning to reach the levels of truly upset.

"BUT YOU AT LEAST GET MORE THAN ONE CHANCE!!" Jack, for his part, was getting pretty annoyed. "You at least get that!"

[needsaprince]

"I'd rather be dead and done with it!" She spits back, surprised at her own bitterness. She was fairly certain she'd never been this bitter in her life.

She wasn't sure if it was entirely true, but she just wanted him to understand.
