Who| Ruby and You!
(ooc: You can also find her in any of these places after she's calmed down. ^^ )
What| Waking up in District 9 suite. Rampaging her way down to the common area. Discovering Snow is alive. Then barging into District 8's Suite to find her friend.
Where| District 9 and 8 suites, with the common area in between.
When| Backdated to nearly the end of the arena.
Warnings/Notes| Splitting this into several phases. <3 She'll be increasingly irritated until she sees Snow, and then - after copious cuddling times - much calmer.
District 9 Suites: She felt a flicker of surprise when her eyes opened up. She'd been dead. She'd felt it when her heart beat stopped... she'd almost welcomed it, after the way Snow had died in her arms. The last thing she'd expected had been a mysterious revival. Her wounds seemed to be gone, at least. Though that still left her with the pain of Snow's death.
The last few seconds of her friend's life kept flashing through her mind. The left over dust from the caves coating her throat and lungs. Snow's gasps. The taste of those blood covered lips as she tried to blow a bit more air into her friend's lungs.
She forced herself to stand, shuddering as her feet hit the floor. Standing and moving toward the door. She didn't stop to think that she was still in her underwear.
----
Common Areas: Ruby fidgeted as she entered the room. She was properly dressed, now, but that didn't stop her from feeling cold. She was alive. Everyone who'd been in the arena was alive - or almost. It was true that Snow's body had disappeared... but did that mean the woman was really alive? Her pack mate? She wanted to believe it more than anything.
She scanned the area, searching for anyone who might give her a clue. Someone who might know where they'd taken Snow. Or where they took the bodies... Bad thought. Very bad. She had to keep up a front, at least, until she found out.
Flexing her feet, the werewolf, felt them dig into the shoes she'd found. The heels were too high for running, just as the green skirt was too low - and the bodice too tight. But she'd use that to her advantage if she could.
Maybe there was a guard around who liked to flirt more than they said.
----
District 8 suites: Ruby knew she wasn't supposed to be there. She half expected people to stand in her way, maybe try to throw her off. Anyone who tried would find themselves pushed away, though. All that mattered was Snow. Snow White. Not their president, not the stuff that fell from the sky - Snow White.
Anyone who got in the way of that was the enemy. Anyone who didn't have information was a distraction. She was a force of nature, stepping forward in her high heels and swishing skirts. The only thing that mattered was her getting her arms around her packmate. Kissing the woman's cheek. Holding the pale woman close. Hearing the heartbeat.
She was there. She was alive. She had to be.

It was an uncomfortable realization that she knew so little. But none of it mattered as much as Snow.

"What was your gal pal's name? Again?" The TV on the wall sprang to life with what looked like a magazine with a title "Meet the new Tributes"

But then it was over.
Just make it work, Harley. Help her to see her friend.

It took a moment but the pale skinned beauty popped up on the screen with her statistics and some pictures.
"I think this channel is for betting." She explained. But more importantly was the District number listed clearly in the corner.
"See? There you go! Now all you gotta do is take the elevator to her floor, kick the door in and shout alot till she comes running...or the security guards tazer you."

She would be gone for a while. Though she would of course be back to her rooms, eventually, if Harley wanted to pick things up.

"My kingdom for a dark comedy!" She declared.

"I'm... Red. By the way." If Snow was going by Snow, and calling her Red, she should probably start using the name.

"Like, wolf and granny and huntsmen?" She pushed leaning forward with a look of childish glee.

"the stories got a lot wrong..."

"That...is so...COOL!" She squealed throwing her hands in the air. "And Snow White? Is she a vampire or something?"

Darting around the kitchen like a humming bird she was throwing open cupboards and clattering dishes. In a blue of lounge clothes she barreled back over the sofa landing gracefully with a bowl of some kind of crunchy treats with colorful shapes and a pair of drinks filled with something sparkly and green. She held one of the drinks out to Red while her foot swung off the sofa to stomp on the remote skillfully turning off the TV.
Apparently Red was going to be her new entertainment for the time being.
"Ok, from the top please!"

Still, she chose to start with her own story. She described her initial start as a village girl - the over-protective Granny, the blacksmith apprentice boyfriend. A wolf that had been hunting the area, for years.
Then there was "Mary Margaret" in the chicken coop. Hiding from the wolf, not willing to reveal her identity... The decision to hunt the wolf. End Granny's tyranny. Get to be with Peter.
Finding the tracks leading to her bedroom. Thinking he was the wolf. Convincing him. She offered to tie him up, and see. He told her to use chains. Red promised to stay by his side.
The last thing she remembered was sitting by his side, as the moon came up. Then Granny and Snow standing over her, silent. Asking where Peter was... Realizing she was the wolf.
Running from the villagers.
She took a break.

At the heartbreaking end Harley was sniffling and dabbing her eye with the corner of a pillow. "At least in a way he'll always be with ya..." She whimpered clearly touched and heartbroken on Red's behalf.

"I think that's enough for now," she said. Maybe she'd tell more later.

"It's sort of a long story from there..."

"It's like being at home except less super heroes and a more competent police force." Harley sounded regretful for that.
"And all my pals back at Arkham would just love these games. Plenty of chaos and destruction, and some of the most creative death traps I've seen in awhile, and I'M friends with the Riddler and girlfriend of the Joker." She said like that meant something to someone not from her world.

She grinned in a lopsided way. "And now Red Riding Hood, but cooler. I can't wait to see you go all wolfie in the Arena." She paused "So is it always out of control or do you have some control over it? Cuz if I need to stay out of reach I wanna know."

But i ca';t transform without the full moon; and magic. I don't think the Capitol's going to make that easy."

But anything that would help her fight. Help her keep friends alive. She didn't care about winning for herself, but... She didn't know if she could take having a friend die in her arms again.
