The Capitol might be known for its extravagance, but Stark Expos have never skimped on a show. Combining the two together could only be a recipe for the most wild indulgences. The center theater takes styling after a arc reactor, with glass ceiling and glowing blue lights set right within the metal and putting a glow to the sky. Lightshows go off on the main stage, the stark logo overhead and a massive screen displaying the Panem flag and Tony Stark's image just behind the dancing Ironettes. A circle plattform going off from the stage, clearly reserved for the guest of honor, features a design Panem's bird in red, gold, and glowing blue.

A globe is featured in the outside gardens, showing off a map of Panem, and the park is filled with artistic statues of destroyed Iron Man amror. But there's no quiet here, not with the fireworks going off all night and the consistent playing of music that is not but sounds an awful lot like that of Daft Punk, Eifel 65, ACDC, and one other song that breaks them up.

Various shows can be found about the gardens, including display models of some of Tony Stark's old weapons and Iron Man suits. Further along guests may find the Avengers display, featuring large portraits of the Avengers and their allies, large red x's going over greyed out portraits of those deemed dead, including Phill Coulson, Natasha Romanoff, and Thor. Along with these portraits can be found the Stark family tree, featuring the Victor Tony Stark and all his relations including apparent son Dave Strider, and Arya Stark, Ancestor of the Stark family, not to mention the great Howard Stark who's accomplishments (and tragic lack of care for Anthony) are lovingly illustrated. One such accomplishment being a "flying car" just a short walk over.

There's plenty for guests to do besides just ogle the brilliant sights however! A bar has been set up with a whole variety of drinking games available from Sink The Battleship and Drink Roulette to an extravagent variation of the classic game, Beer Pong, and an ongoing run of the Games with rules of drinking for each emotional scene, funny incident, or death. Those under the age of eighteen will be served fizzing juice or soda instead and can participate in junior versions of the very same games. All the cups are made from the finest glass with Tony Stark images over them. Avoxes are on scene to clean every spill and break of glass that might come.

A cave has been crafted of artificial and real material, designed to look like the Cave in which Tony Stark became a real hero, but with a twist; it's been made into a fun-for-all maze! Guests can attempt to navigate their way to the labyrinth and reach the core, avoiding those nasty pop-out rebels along the way. Those who make it to the fire-lit center may receive a limited edition "Tony Stark Heart" miniature arc reactor in a beautiful glass case.

An indoor sky diving station is also available, large enough that many guests may enter at once and still find it spacious. Here, guests can don Iron Man themed sky-diving suits and experience the sensation of flight, just as Tony Stark once did. Of course, the party doesn't start until the Victor comes in; he'll be appearing by Capitol-controlled suit to make his entrance at center stage. It is here that his Throne shall be raised up through the stage and his crown gifted to him. Following the official Crowning Ceremony will also come a speech from the Capitol's very own, Cyrus Reagan.

Tributes are dressed in formal wear with robotic accents. Such as a full mask or metal armor. Capitolites can be seen with Tony stark styled hair, bearing tattoos in his image, and even with surgically implanted lights, in honor of the new Victor. Available for purchase are handcrafted Tony Stark dolls, Iron Man action figures, and models of beloved robot-pet "Dum-E" in both small and life-sized. The Iron Man light gloves come completely free for all guests.

The Crowning ends off with a bang, as in the center of the sky, a massive "wormhole" opens up showing a vast darkness full of sinister creatures just on the other side, sure to inspire some screams from fans. Guests near to the Iron Man suit displays are asked by peacekeepers to step back-- far back-- but may be the first to witness the incredible scene of all those suits launching into the sky and exploding around and "in" the wormhole. The wormhole shifts to a message stating the show to have been brought to you by the Hunger Game's skilled Sky-Display Designers before going into advertising for the rest of the night as the party dies down.

She can't help the smile that spreads across her face at Cullen's frank compliment. This was easily why she'd fallen in love with him. He could get so flustered over the simplest things, but also made her feel like the most beautiful woman in Thedas. She looks him over, approval raising her eyebrows as she reaches out to lightly take his hand.

"One thing can be said for this place, they seem to know what they're doing when it comes to fashion." At least some of them do. Granted there's others who look like a terrifying wagon wreck, but that was thankfully not universal.

"You look very handsome tonight, Commander."

"Oh, uh, thank you," he says, giving her a sheepish grin even as he squeezes her hand faintly. "I'm not so sure about all that, but - you look - lovely." A vision, he's heard the term or something like it, and he thinks that fits her very well tonight.

"Though, I really can't see how anyone could dance to this music," he adds after a moment.

"Thank you," she responds to his compliment, her smile softening somewhat, a faint blush coloring her cheeks. She's not unaccustomed to compliments, but ones from him tend to mean a little more to her. Glancing away from him briefly and focusing on the music she shakes her head.

"I don't think the dancing they're doing here is our kind of dancing."

His eyes glance out over some of the people who seem to be dancing, but mostly it looks like they're doing things better suited to the privacy of the bedroom. He avoids looking at them again.

"Yes, quite," he mutters, shaking his head a little. "There's... plenty of food, at least." If nothing else, this place doesn't lack for amenities.

Adella had spotted the same dancers that had made Cullen uncomfortable, though it just makes her smirk. You certainly wouldn't see that kind of thing in the courts of Orlais.

"And wine. It's quite the party."

"Noisy," he mutters, shaking his head. "Perhaps we could step out into the garden? It might be a little quieter out there..."

Of course, it's really just a suggestion. If there's something she wants to do, he'll follow along with her like a loyal dog.

Tabris flits by as Cullen and Adella talked, looking once again like her old self, in a strange dress taken from the Grey Warden armor. She has apparently heard a decent portion of the conversation, as she wheels to a stop, and nudges Cullen, handing him a little box. "Give it to her in priiiiivate. Go have some alone kissy time." She winks at him, and Adella, and then takes off. At least someone is thoroughly enjoying the raucousness.

Cullen will find a perfectly innocent chocolate heart when opened, engraved with a little 'A'. It shouldn't take too long for him to puzzle out the original recipient, but it will suit his needs as well.

She had been poised to agree to Cullen's suggestion when Tabris interrupted and then was off again a beat after arriving. Adella looks after the elf, a slight look of bemusement on her face.

"Andraste's ass," she swears after the woman, before turning to secure her arm through Cullen's. "Was Warden Amell like that?"

It happens so fast, Cullen is barely able to catch his breath before something is pressed into his hand and Tabris is gone again. He shakes his head after her for a moment, and glances down at the little box, carefully opening it up.

"Hm? No, nothing like that." He's not sure anyone is quite like Tabris.

"Come," he says, taking her elbow gently. "The garden?"

Back on the original track she looks back up at Cullen, smiling and nodding her head.

"Lead the way, Commander."

He leads the way easily - it's old habit to scope out a new area the moment he arrives. Is it defensible? Are there good hiding places? Areas vulnerable to attack? And, of course, all the exits.

It's quieter out here, though still loud by his standards, and it's also never truly dark in the city, either, but at least out here, he can hear himself think a little easier - and he doesn't have to shout to be heard. They might even be able to find a spot of privacy.

"Here," he says, after a moment, handing her the little box. "Do you like chocolate? They've been... passing these around."

Smooth, Rutherford, smooth.

The garden isn't much of a noise improvement, but it's a little less occupied, so she's able to relax a little, lean into him a bit more. When he hands her the box she frowns, before smiling a little.

"I'm a fan of anything sweet, really. Chocolate is definitely high on that list." Whether or not the Capitol chocolate would measure up to what they could get in Thedas remained to be seen. "Thank you."

"Well, there seems to be no shortage of - just about every food imaginable here," he says faintly. "At least we won't go hungry."

His hand finds hers and tangles their fingers together. He just - can't stop being glad that she's alright, that she's here with him again, despite what they went through in the arena. He never wants to let her out of his sight again.

She gives his hand a gentle squeeze, leaning into him while trying to be cautious of the metal on her arms. She doubts anyone will particularly care if she bends or breaks it, but she doesn't want to jab him with it.

"It's excessive, really. Even for the number of people here, there's no way everything is getting eaten." And something tells her that these people don't believe in saving "leftovers."

"Yes. And, frankly, I expect the situation is very different in these districts of theirs," Cullen points out quietly, glancing around as though worried someone might overhear. He's only heard hints and rumors, but enough to have a strong suspicion.

"I think that's a fair assumption," she replies equally quietly, pressing her lips together and looking around as casually as possible. There's no one terribly close to them that looks interested in their conversation, but she knows that means exactly nothing, after having experienced an Arena.

Looking to change the subject she pops the box he'd given her open with her free hand, juggling it around so she can get the chocolate out and pop it into her mouth. She lets out a thoughtful hum, before looking up at him.

"I've had better."

Cullen laughs a little in surprise at her comment, and shrugs helplessly.

"I'm sorry. Now that I know you're a connoisseur, I'll see if I can find better."

He... actually will, too.

She chuckles, shaking her head and leaning up on her toes to press a kiss to his cheek, squeezing his hand a little in the same motion.

"You don't have to. I'm content with this. Besides, nothing is quite like chocolate from home."

"True enough," he murmurs. He might still get her some, though. Just because they're not home doesn't mean they can't find some enjoyment where they can.

With that thought, he turns his head a little to catch her lips in a soft kiss, his hands on her waist tugging her closer against him.

She's surprised, but pleased, when he turns his head to kiss her. Her free hand slides up to loosely curl around his neck and she gives him a soft smile when they part.

"I miss the walkways over Skyhold," she says quietly, leaning her forehead against his.

"So do I." His smile turns soft. He misses a lot of things about home. He used to think it was terribly difficult to find private time with her at Skyhold. He really never could've imagined this.

He misses her.

"Perhaps we could - er, I could - join you in your - chamber, tonight?" he asks, slightly awkward again, unsure what she wants. If she wants.

Letting out a laugh she slides her hand up to cup his cheek, tilting her head slightly to the side.

"If I'd known all it took was a nice dress to get you to ask, I'd have worn one much sooner." She doesn't like being apart from him. She's happier when they're together, and if it weren't for the fact that she's worried someone will get in trouble, she'd insist on them sharing one-another's rooms at all times. Tonight, no one is likely to care what they get up to, at least.

He relaxes a little at her reaction, his smile turning almost boyish as he leans in for another kiss. "I wouldn't want to impose. Or cause you any trouble," he points out. He won't see her get into trouble, not for anything, but especially not for this. And besides, one night together - as good as it admittedly was - doesn't guarantee anything.

"But it is a nice dress. You look - beautiful."

There's few things she loves more than eliciting that look from him. She's more than happy to kiss him again, leaning her weight into his chest.

"I don't give a damn about getting in trouble, I'd rather be with you. If they didn't want us to be together, they shouldn't have brought us here in the first place."

He might protest - his first instinct is to protect, to do whatever is necessary to keep his loved ones safe. But Adella is her own woman - capable of making her own decisions, as he well knows.

Besides, when what she wants coincides so perfectly with what he wants, well. How can he argue with her?

"Somehow I don't think they care too much about what we do or don't do tonight," he murmurs finally, holding her close. "No doubt there will be bigger concerns."

This sort of party would be a guardsman's nightmare, for one thing. The public drunkenness would be off the charts.
