On the morning of February 14th when the Tributes come down for breakfast they're greeted by an impressive holiday themed spread. Pink and red baked goods, chocolates shaped like hearts, beautiful red and pink flowers, adorable stuffed animals all line the table.

On the table is also a sign in cursive that reads:

To our beloved Tributes, Victors, Mentors, Escorts and Stylists. Enjoy your holiday. -- Bartlett Industries

Most of the sweets are completely harmless, but if the Tributes taste the chocolate covered cherries or caramels they find themselves suddenly acting very strangely...

"If it's comfortable, I like them," he stated quite plainly, glancing down the hallway as well. "After you, I presume?"

"I haven't seen any furniture here that wasn't comfortable," he said, heading down the hallway to where he was fairly certain there was a lounge-type area.

"That's because there isn't any. Everything in the Capitol is comfortable. And amazing. And brilliant." Draco stated gleefully, trailing along with Clint.

"Is that so?"

He found the lounge and dropped onto the couch, motioning for Draco to join him.

"Well." A shrug, and he gracefully joined him, moving to do so almost before Clint motioned for it, into a tangle of long limbs and nonchalance. "Sort of. They gave us these chocolates, didn't they?"

Clint smirked, settling in close to Draco. "Yeah, okay, the chocolates are pretty good."

He grinned, half-realising that he only had a couple more of the chocolates left as he moved in close, revelling in the proximity and the warmth as he shamelessly pressed against the other man's side. "Exactly. And I've heard they actually do things like this for all the major hols."

Yeah, Clint was all about the cuddling right now. He shifted to rest his arm behind Draco on the couch. "All the major hols, huh?" He may just have done a ridiculously bad imitation of Draco's accent there.

Draco really liked cuddling. Not even under the influence of things. All the time. It was one of those largely secret facts that was slowly coming out as more and more obvious as the day went on, and he couldn't bring himself to care.

"I don't sound like that," he mused, his smirk wide. "But yes. That's what I was told, at least. From a very reliable source."

Clint was pretty fond of it too with the right people. At the moment, Draco was the right people.

"And Valentine's is a major holiday where you're from?"

[mudbloodhater]

He was more than happy to continue being the right people for as long as necessary, too.

"Major-ish. Depends on who you ask. The girls? Yes, of course; half of them clamour over each other trying to get illicit love potions they can slip into things to convince the boys they like to fancy them back. Never works out as planned, though."

"Love potions?"

He didn't really believe that's what Draco meant.

"Oh yes. Horrid little things. They're banned for a reason, of course," he replied, fluttering one hand. It didn't even occur to him that Clint was another of those who wouldn't believe him.

"Right. I can see why they would be," Clint said, nodding sagely and smirking a little.

Draco looked quite serious as he leaned over, resting his head on Clint's shoulder, "You don't want to be on the wrong end of a love potion. It makes you terribly sappy. Absolutely adoring of whomever slipped you the thing."

Clint smiled and leaned his cheek on Draco's hair. "Sounds awful."

"Absolutely. You get no say in the matter," he replied, sounding rather put out despite how cosy he currently was.

"Good thing I don't know how to make a love potion, I guess," Clint answered with a smirk.

[mudbloodhater]

"Probably. Even better that the Capitol doesn't, or else we'd all be acting like nutters, I'm sure." Never mind that he was cuddling with someone he'd not met before now. That was clearly well within sanity.

Clearly. Clint was on the same page as him. "Yeah, they'd probably throw us into an orgy or something."

[mudbloodhater]

"Oh Merlin," Draco announced, rolling his eyes as he leaned a bit more into it. "Can you even imagine? They'd have a field day with something like that."

"Yeah, they really would," Clint said with a snort of laughter.

[mudbloodhater]

He grinned, sniggering to himself. "Hell, they'd probably make it like that lockdown, just to make sure we were all in the same place. 'For our safety', or some such."

"Lockdown?" Clint asked, eyebrows raised.

[mudbloodhater]

"Oh, did you miss that? You didn't really miss that much," he sniffed. "They locked us in a room. Some kind of explosion, I heard."
