[open] CATCH ALL

Who| ALL Y'ALL it's a ho down
What| A catch-all reaction log for the plot developments. Saves you from making 5 logs each tbh.
Where| All around the place
When| During and post lock down, 3am~ sunday onward
WARNINGS| Panicking, talk of murder and violence. Singing the songs of panem.

When things like THIS and THIS are going down it's probably a good time to touch base with one another. Face caressing, crying and meaningful stares abound as the Tributes and Staff drag their knuckles hopelessly in an effort to figure out what the fresh hell is going on.

Make your own prompts, feel free to make them closed to specific people.

"Through every act of mischief and every misdeed, they are doing exactly as they should for me." He was the god of mischief, after all, with no moral fibers. Perhaps if worship was actually important to him, he'd care how people acted about and towards him. That just wasn't how Asgardians worked.

"Not anyone can be liked and feared both," Loki said. It took true talent, he believed. Of course, his own ego constantly told him he was all of the above. "Here, you have to be both. Prove your worth, people will shower that praise back to you directly." People needed someone to root for.

Eridan still didn't quite get it, but he guessed that had more to do with not being hatched a god, instead he was a prince, one that favored being revered for his accomplishments and the like. He wanted worship, he wanted fame and recognition, but maybe that was because Eridan wasn't as confident in himself as he'd like others to think. Hm.

Oh wwell.

He did consider, for a moment, what Loki was saying. It seemed simple enough, maybe. Though, Eridan was never any good at getting people to like him, a fault that made itself abundantly clear with nearly every interaction he ever had, "I can more than prowe my bloody worth. Don't you worry about that. Honestly, this sounds like fuckin' nothin'. Just some sorta telewised wersion a FLARP, and I was a seasoned FLARP champion. I know how to perform."

Loki understood the desire, but as a god - he didn't need recognition. People already knew who he was, just because of his name. It was all over mythology books, and now it was known for all the works of evil he had done. "If you think it is some nothing then you are mistaken." He'd have to learn from experience, Loki thought. He didn't seem like the type who would figure it out because someone told him it was bad.

"But if you can act, then maybe you'll be fine." A smirk. "At least for awhile."

"I'm more than capable a surwiwin' this primitiwe sort a gimmick they got goin'. You needn't worry about me." Not that Loki was, but Eridan waved him off regardless. He felt he knew what he was doing, knew he was made for this sort of brutality. It was nothing in the face of what Alternia was, these humans trying to be crueler than their nature allowed was hilarious, if anything.

And perhaps a little sad.

"So tell me, how long hawe you been trapped in this blood-soaked game, hm?"

"A month and a half or so," Loki answered. He wasn't sure that lying about that would give him any sort of advantage over Eridan. It didn't matter. He shrugged his shoulders.

"Primitive is right," he shrugged. There were societies in his time that had bloodsport, but he didn't really see a point to them. After all, when you really needed people to be loyal, you had already gotten so many of your followers killed through this sport. "Only primitive societies have bloodsport."
