[open] CATCH ALL

Who| ALL Y'ALL it's a ho down
What| A catch-all reaction log for the plot developments. Saves you from making 5 logs each tbh.
Where| All around the place
When| During and post lock down, 3am~ sunday onward
WARNINGS| Panicking, talk of murder and violence. Singing the songs of panem.

When things like THIS and THIS are going down it's probably a good time to touch base with one another. Face caressing, crying and meaningful stares abound as the Tributes and Staff drag their knuckles hopelessly in an effort to figure out what the fresh hell is going on.

Make your own prompts, feel free to make them closed to specific people.

It took everything Jennifer had not to scoff at Eponine or laugh in her face. Sometimes, being in control of her reactions was incredibly difficult. Instead, she spoke to the girl with absolutely finality.

"I don't think you understand me. Whether or not you are fed up has no bearing on what is happening. Eva is a criminal in their eyes and she's going to be locked away until they see fit to release her, if they ever do. There are no visiting times. She's been accused or murdering a Peacekeeper. She may have been executed already." Jennifer spoke slowly, trying to get the point across. "You cannot see her. End of story. There's no bargains to make, no pleas, no offers, nothing that can sway things in your favor. I'm sorry it has to be this way, but there is literally nothing you or I can do to change things for Eva. Is that clear?"

Eponine understood alright - and she understood that she should have acted sooner. She couldn't stand the thought that Eva might be dead already. But her growing fear came out and she lashed at Jennifer, spitting at the woman and slamming her hands on the desk again.

"PAH! It is clear to me that you are useless, Miss Blackwood. I shan't let her be executed - and you know, I shall tell you one, two, three things. I tell you that that witch of a woman deserved her murder. Now it is not so often I say such a thing, but here, yes it is true. She deserves to die. And I say that I hate it here - but that you are stupid, for my Mama did not kill that horrible Penny, for my Eva, she was with me when that woman was killed. She was with me, yes? So you tell those soldiers to release her. Is that not a bargain enough for you?"

Any sympathy remaining in Jennifer evaporated in that instant, and as Eponine stood there screaming, she firmly and deliberately pressed the panic button on the underside of her desk, to summon Peacekeepers to her office. As Eponine droned on, two officers entered the room and inquired as to the disturbance.

"As you can see, this young woman is quite disturbed. She's had a difficult night, officers. If you wouldn't mind escorting her back to the District Three suites and settling her in for the night. I'm sure she and her mentors will be very grateful."

Jennifer then made an elaborate show of wiping the spit from her face with an ornately decorated handkerchief.
