[open] CATCH ALL

Who| ALL Y'ALL it's a ho down
What| A catch-all reaction log for the plot developments. Saves you from making 5 logs each tbh.
Where| All around the place
When| During and post lock down, 3am~ sunday onward
WARNINGS| Panicking, talk of murder and violence. Singing the songs of panem.

When things like THIS and THIS are going down it's probably a good time to touch base with one another. Face caressing, crying and meaningful stares abound as the Tributes and Staff drag their knuckles hopelessly in an effort to figure out what the fresh hell is going on.

Make your own prompts, feel free to make them closed to specific people.

As it had been open, Lyle was already stepping inside when she voiced the invitation. His eyes flicked over her briefly, noting her posture and fake smile as he quietly pressed the door shut behind him.

And then...he looked away, eyes sliding off of her like she was just part of the décor in the room. Or less than that, since he immediately began to prowl around her office, inspecting the contents other than its occupant. While he made an effort to project an air of someone who was simply mildly diverted by the contents of a room he'd not been in before, he was actually attempting to glean whatever information he could from the objects she'd chosen to display on the walls of her area of (however flimsy) control.

He also wanted to see how well she could play this game. Or at least, how long she'd tolerate being ignored.

Jennifer watched him stalk around in mild interest, vaguely concerned that he might start destroying the office in a fit of misplaced rage. The items inside weren't hers, but she had enough sense of order to not want them destroyed. The only photograph she displayed was one on her desk. It's of her husband, Arturas.

"If there's something you need from me, please speak up, otherwise I can't assist you." She wasn't a mind reader, after all.

Lyle rolled his head her direction and raised his eyebrows.

"While it's very kind of you to offer, Ms. Blackwood, whatever makes you think that I need anything that's within your power to give me?"

He paused thoughtfully for a moment, the approached her desk, snagging one of the chairs across from her and flipping it around backwards before sitting astride it.

"Though I suppose a conversation would be a mildly diverting way to spend the time until everyone out there stops wailing and moaning as though something like this wasn't inevitable." He smiles charmingly. "Is there anything I can do for you?"
