[open] CATCH ALL
Who| ALL Y'ALL it's a ho down
What| A catch-all reaction log for the plot developments. Saves you from making 5 logs each tbh.
Where| All around the place
When| During and post lock down, 3am~ sunday onward
WARNINGS| Panicking, talk of murder and violence. Singing the songs of panem.
When things like THIS and THIS are going down it's probably a good time to touch base with one another. Face caressing, crying and meaningful stares abound as the Tributes and Staff drag their knuckles hopelessly in an effort to figure out what the fresh hell is going on.
Make your own prompts, feel free to make them closed to specific people.

Without being able to stay completely put, Belle left her floor and wandered to the common area. She walked around the room with light steps for some time, looking at other people. It didn't take a long for her to notice a man, who seemed to be more stressed and distressed than others, leaning against the wall.
After hesitating for a brief moment, Belle carefully approached the said man.
"Sir?" She asked with a genuine worry in her voice. "Are you quite alright?"
no subject
She was young. Too young to be here, in his opinion. Then again, no one should be here, if half of what he'd found out was true.
no subject
She spoke with a soft voice, trying to keep her own discomfort hidden away. She kept a small distance between them, not wanting man's nervousness and anxiety to grow any more.
"But still. You don't look very good, sir. Maybe fresh air would help?"
no subject
He kept fiddling with his glasses. He always ended up fidgeting when he was nervous, which was quite often.
"But maybe an open window would help."
He straightens up, going towards the nearest window before unlatching it and opening it as far as it will go, which isn't terribly far. "What's your name?"
no subject
Of course it was also possible that the rooftop was out of access during the lock down.
"My name Belle," her smile widened a little as she introduced herself. "I was brought here just few days ago and I'm currently staying at District six. May I ask your name, sir?"
no subject
He pushed his glasses on again, making eye contact again briefly. Belle. She had a lot of warmth in her demeanor. He'd met a lot of people like that, and he usually found it very hard not to like them. However, a warm demeanor was far from enough to get him to let his guard done.
"Bruce. If you're not comfortable calling me that, you can call me Dr. Banner." After all, she was calling him 'sir,' so maybe respect was a big deal where she came from. He had long since stopped being picky about what people called him, but sometimes others insisted on maintaining respectful titles.
no subject
"I would love to show you the way." A little bit surprised to see that he was actually comfortable with her taking him to the gardens. After all, he did come across someone very careful and they had just first met.
"It's not far away. We can get there using the moving box."
no subject
Besides, he might be able to learn something from her.
"You mean the elevator?" He keeps glancing around them, checking the crowd more out of instinct than anything, and keeps close to the wall as they get to the elevator. He presses the button calling it before clasping his hands again, nervously running his thumb against his knuckles.
Regardless of his reasons for wanting to talk to her, maybe she's right. Crowds don't help his anxiety at all. "How long have you been here?"
no subject
She doesn't bother hiding her excitement as they step in the elevator, letting her smile grow wide and more bright.
"Not for long, this is my third day at Panem. Everything around here is still quite new and bizarre to me, at least. What about you Bruce? Have you just arrived as well?"
no subject
"I just arrived tonight, actually. They brought me in after it was already dark." He clasped his hands again, running fingers over his knuckles in a mostly futile attempt to soothe himself and keep his hands busy. "It's, uh, been pretty overwhelming so far."
no subject
To be honest, she had been not too long ago in a very similar situation when she had became a prisoner to Beast and everything had turned out alright. But then again, back then no one expected her to participate in a death match.
"At least the people around here are nice. The other tributes, I mean."
no subject
He keeps his back to the wall while they rise. He likes having his back to a wall. That way, no one can sneak up on him.
The other tributes are nice, she says. Most of the ones he's spoken to thus far have seemed to be, but he doesn't trust first impressions. Many of these people have been in multiple gladiator matches. One doesn't come out of that staying 'nice.'
The door opens again. He gestures for her to go first--more out of discomfort with turning his back on strangers than courtesy.
no subject
She wasn't surprised at all when he gestured her to step forward first. After all, his previous behavior and demeanor really made him seem like very cautious person.
Her smile only softens understandingly, without any question or trace of judgement on her expression, as she leaves the elevator. Luckily for them, the rooftop and Gardens were left accessible for Tributes. Belle couldn't help but let out a sigh as they entered to the Gardens. She had only been there once before, and that was during daytime and even then the place had looked breathtakingly beautiful. But now, at the night, it looked even more gorgeous.
