[open] CATCH ALL
Who| ALL Y'ALL it's a ho down
What| A catch-all reaction log for the plot developments. Saves you from making 5 logs each tbh.
Where| All around the place
When| During and post lock down, 3am~ sunday onward
WARNINGS| Panicking, talk of murder and violence. Singing the songs of panem.
When things like THIS and THIS are going down it's probably a good time to touch base with one another. Face caressing, crying and meaningful stares abound as the Tributes and Staff drag their knuckles hopelessly in an effort to figure out what the fresh hell is going on.
Make your own prompts, feel free to make them closed to specific people.

Common - Open
Once he gets to the openness of the common area he looks around, his eyes taking in who was still around, specifically Tony was looking for Thor, Steve, Natasha, even the Bucky duo. However if he happens to run into anyone else he knows, like Dave, Anna, even Hiccup, then he won't be all all put out about this.
"I'm not enjoying the familiarity of this situation."
no subject
He honestly has no idea what is going on. He barely knew what was going on before the soldiers marched in.
Understanding his situation is more important than futilely trying to fall back asleep, so he immediately goes down to the ground floor. A crowd is gathering--there were probably soldiers on the other floors, too--and Bruce feels the undercurrent of anxiety that has been plaguing him since waking up on that cot begin to rise. He presses his back against the wall and keeps the exits in sight, clasping his hands and running his thumb over his knuckles in an attempt to calm himself down.
...Until he hears a very familiar voice.
Bruce usually stays quiet in crowds, but he instinctively swings his head around, furrowing his brow. "Tony?"
no subject
Turning he scans the area and sees Bruce looking so very nervous and jumpy right now. Any worry he might have about Bruce being here he actually manages to hide with the craziness of the whole situation. He makes his way over to at least try and help Bruce's nerves.
Also because he doesn't want to talk louder than he has to.
"Yeah, I know. I've got to stop having parties that causes the fuzz to arrive." He smirks with his attempts to break the tension.
no subject
Oh. And Tony is bleeding.
"Tell me you didn't provoke the officers." This is bad, but it's also good in a twisted way. It's something for Bruce to focus on beyond his own anxiety and confusion. "Where do they keep first aid kits? Your head is bleeding everywhere."
no subject
"How did..." Tony raises his hand to where he knew his head was at least throbbing and managed to feel the tacky feeling of the blood before wincing. "Well... Ow."
On the subject of first aid kits, Tony just shrugs, he really has no idea. "You know, I've bled before. You've seen it, really it's not even worthy of a deal these days." Because lets face it, Tony's never enjoyed doctors, so it's no surprise he's going to learn about first aid kits. Besides, people who know Tony usually know where they are for some reason, that Tony is sooo oblivious to. Not.
no subject
Then again, Tony had probably had a dozen untreated concussions since making Iron Man. How the man is still alive, Bruce has no idea. "At least clean it."
His hands are clasping again. The thumb going over his knuckles. His body shrinking in on itself as his eyes dart towards the crowd of unfamiliar faces. "Tony, what's going on?" He has no real reason to think that Tony has any more knowledge than he does, but he might. That's the point.
He has no idea what's happening. He has very little idea of what's happening at all, about the gladiator games and this strange place that insists on treating them like guests and all the hopelessly savage natives (for that is all he can think of when he hears that an advanced nation is forcing people to die for fun) with such advanced technology.

She appears at Tony's shoulder, eyes wide and a little fearful. "Does this...happen often?"
no subject
"Well. Usually there's aliens or a madman in a suit with rockets on it. But the chaos is pretty on the mark."
He's so very casual with saying that, scary snowmen might be something that has Anna all 'hey whatevs' but Tony's scary things don't melt in a heatwave, it's never that easy for him.
Tony looks back down at her.
"You okay?"
He says still oblivious to his own head wound.
no subject
"I'm fine, but what happened to you!" She bites her lip, circling around him to get a better look. "Did they hit you or something?"
no subject
He watches her circle.
"I'm feeling like prey, here."
no subject
She's not really used to the sight of blood, even after a month or so of watching the Games being replayed over and over on the screens in the tower. It's still jarring for her.

He approaches swiftly, placing a heavy hand on Tony's shoulder to steady him, particularly once he notes the wound on his head.
"Have you been foolish?" He asks with a raised eyebrow, but he doesn't begrudge Tony for it.
no subject
"No more than usual." He says before looking back up at Thor. He knows that Thor's looking at his head, really still thinking it's just a massive bruise there. "Never really been in the habit of just letting stormtroopers come stomping into my house."
no subject
"Nor have I." His expression turns to a slight scowl. "I had no desire for the situation to escalate further. Not when there is more to come." This is going to get much, much worse before it gets better. "Who among your district have they snatched?"
no subject
There's a shake of his head, before looking at the hand still on his shoulder. It's not that he's adverse to being touched, he actually quite enjoys it. But really, Thor and he have a very strange acquaintance with each other and the hand was heading into awkwardly long hug territory before finally dropping it.
"Uh." He answers momentarily staring past Thor at the crowd before looking back at Thor. "Topher, Sandy, and Garak. At least that's who I saw getting pulled out, there was no one there when I got back up from behind furniture before coming down here."
no subject
Thor's response to the missing tributes will be nothing more than a hum as he considers it before listing off his own. "They forcibly removed Nasir and Kevin, though not the victor Kevin. Had it been him, I would have considered assisting them." He looks grim for a moment. "Who among our allies remains here?"

This observation was brought to Tony courtesy of the Bucky from his own world, moving like a shadow from the corners of the room as he notes the presence of someone who counts as much as ally as he is able to understand right now. Or at the least he is Steve's ally and that counts for more. Observing and keeping track of those people is the most he can do right now.
Steve had also meant to fight the peacekeepers who took a girl from D9 and he might have ended up like Tony or worse had Bucky not been swift enough to stop him. It reminds of Hydra, swift and cold and brutal, with no explanations offered to their pawns except submit or suffer. In that scenario he had known which choice to make.
"Familiar?"
no subject
"Ah, yeah. They came after three of my, uh. Floor mates? I guess." He wipes his hand on his trousers to get rid of the blood on his fingers but seems less than interested doing anything else to it, partly due to him not realising how bad it was.
He gives Bucky something close to a sideways look.
"You know. The screaming, confusion, and pained looks. I mean it's a different feeling to actually be a part of it. But still familiar enough."
no subject
So, "It should be looked at." is all he can offer in this situation, nodding in understanding as Tony explains his reference. "It is."
no subject
"I've survived a gaping hole in my chest, I can live with a bump on the head."
Like with all things he talks about that he doesn't think is a big deal he sounds dismissive, like he's talking about something no more important than having to get a hair cut. Speaking of hair cuts.
"Didn't you used to look like a mop? I remember a mop."
no subject
But a mop? "No." he said pointedly at first, displeased with the comparison. Tony's talking about his hair, something that keeps gets a surprising amount of reaction from everyone around him. Bucky had never thought his appearance was something so attention-worthy until after the haircut happened. His fingers twitch to reach up and smooth his hair back but remain stubbornly down at his side.
"The Widow did it."

He doesn't precisely know what to say at this point, nor why he's even approached Tony, but he sort of slips into his radius. He's devoid of anything witty to say at the moment, so he just raises a brow at the wound on Tony's head and forces out the first thing he can think to say.
"Hey."
no subject
"Hey."
He doesn't say anything for a while, at least until he realises Dave isn't going to say anymore he pipes up himself.
"Are we done with the awkwardness of the situation? Because I'm not enjoying the awkwardness. Who was it they took?"
Tony didn't bother to point out that clearly someone the boy knew had been taken, that much could only be more obvious with a sign. But ri h t now, Tony needed answers and could maybe do something for the kid somehow.
no subject
"Rose, my sister." He needs to follow that with a very discreet inhale through his nose. "Terezi. 'Member that ex I told you about? S'her." Ugh, feelings. It's hard to play nonchalant while being entirely serious about this. "You?"
no subject
He nods when he lists who he's missing. "Rose. Blonde, lavenderish eyes, kind of wordy? And yeah, I remember the ex, or at least you finding it awkward." Tony doesn't really know why he remembers the ex, usually other peoples problems are just that, other people's problems. But for some reason Dave's little ball of teen angst seems to be sticking with Tony.
For a man who is really bad about caring about individuals, he's noticing a lot of caring happening here. He's not sure how he feels about it. Either way he shrugs one shoulder at the question.
"Headcount isn't complete. But we're down three in 12 now." He runs his hand through his hair, anglin the hand away from where he's bleeding subconsciously. "So far I know you're fine, Thor, one Barnes, and the princess are fine." There's a pause. "Also Bruce." He pulls a face suggesting that he wasn't certainly not on the original headcount list.
