[HK-47]
In all honesty, out of all the fresh new tributes, HK-47 had been the one Holly was rooting for. She'd sponsored him as much as she could and had watched him all up until his final moments, her breath held and a few tears shed. But only because someone was cutting onions, of course. She had hoped he might win, but she supposes this just gives her more opportunity to spoil him in the future when the next arena comes around.
Either way, when he does die and returns, she'll find him as soon as she can. Wherever he might be, it doesn't matter because she slinks up behind him and places her hands over his eyes. "Guess who!" she says, as if the enthusiastic tones doesn't give her away at all.
[Jolie]
Jolie is the first one Holly goes to when things get intense. In a weird sort of way, it feels like Jolie is her drag mother sometimes, though she does prefer to think of her more as a sister than anything. But when something big like this happens, she needs the comforting presence of her drag-sister-mother. It feels like Jolie will know what to do.
She'd been at home when it all started, so it takes her a while to get to the tribute tower and she can already see the signs of rebellion starting. She's sick to her stomach by the time she finds Jolie, but immediately Holly is latching herself onto the older queen's arm.
"I've been looking everywhere for you!" she says, a touch frantically. Her her wavy black wig is a mess, and it seems a little like one of her hips is lopsided. She's been in a hurry, okay? Sometimes things shift a little. "Are you alright?" she asks, brushing some hair out of her face. "This is so scary!"
[Eridan + Stephen later]
It's after her talk with Jolie, when she's learned some things that she would really have preferred not knowing. Holly is trying very hard not to panic as she hurries throughout the tower, trying to calm people down and get them to stop doing things that might anger the Capitol. "Please stop!" she might say as she passes someone, "Don't do that!" is something else. It doesn't seem to work, though, which only gets her increasingly flustered.
"Let the Capitol work this out!" she all but screeches out when she finally loses the ability to keep herself calm, and her attention is on one of the trolls- she doesn't remember his name- but she can tell he's up to no good and it's stressing her right out. "Stop! Stop!" she snaps, her voice frantic and nervous. "You don't know what you're doing, please just let the Capitol handle this!" |
