WHO| Open
WHAT| Night life at the Speakeasy
WHEN| Evenings this week
WHERE| The Speakeasy
WARNINGS/NOTES| Feel free to use this party post style, or however you like if you would like to set any threads here.
The speakeasy was a classy joint. Wood panels, and soft velvet, and usually some kinda of live music, something mellow and easy to relax to. It was big, with low ceilings and with many back rooms, some easy to access, others less so. Easy to get lost in. And it gave off an air of class, of comfort, and being a part of something a little different from the rest. The kinda place where everybody knew your name, and everybody knew to be discreet about it.
It was the perfect place to grab a drink, sit, talk, and relax. No one over heard you, no one got in your business, but everyone was glad to talk if you wanted to find a friendly face. The owner, Conscientia, made her round every now and then, saying hello to her regulars, welcoming those who were new.

"Have I been gone?" he asked, wondering what happened to the world he left behind. "We talked - I've been here a few days but before here, we texted. Briefly. You told me Hunter was pissed we stole our Nationals trophy back," he explained. "I'm missing."

He didn't know what else to say at this point. If Sebastian was from a year before he was still doggedly pursuing Blaine, he was unaware of the deeper friendship they had developed. He was unaware that Blaine understood Sebastian, judged him but worried for him, and was probably the only one of New Directions that believed in him at the end of the day.
There was a lot of hurt under there.
But, Blaine couldn't get to any of that. The familiarity was waning. Sebastian had taken the hug gratefully because he wanted Blaine. It hadn't been a friendly hug.
Beyond all that, coming to terms with this and learning Sebastian was also taken was affecting him. Now he had someone else to worry about. Someone else he'd have to...
No, he wouldn't think about that. It rounded back to the fact that Blaine wasn't a killer. He had never wanted to kill Sebastian - or anyone. He'd felt disdain for people, even hatred but he also saw underneath insecurity.
None of this was insecurity.
"So, we're not even friends, yet."

With that silence, Sebastian started to think. What on earth, besides that Hunter guy and the break up, could possibly be that big a deal between his time and Blaine's that had changed their friendship so much? He wanted to know, but he also didn't want to pry.
"Not in my time. But... even so. I'd like to be."

"But, we don't have much of a choice. We - we should stick together." As long as they could.

Nodding again. He'd protect Blaine. Sure, he wanted to do many things with him, but fight to the death? That was not one of those things. He would protect Blaine, no matter what, even take... whatever weapon of choice the other tributes were using. If anyone was going to win over Sebastian, it was going to be Blaine.

"And - I did like this you. I mean, I didn't know know this you. I just thought you were friendly." He huffed out a breath. "You wanna get out of here?"
He'd been here for too long and he just... needed to stretch his legs and get. out.
no subject
"Sure. Let's get out of here. I've seen enough naked women to last a lifetime."
no subject
"How are you so nonchalant about all this? You're not freaking out," he said, again, not seeing if Sebastian was following. Just hoping so.
no subject
"Honestly. I just... take whatever comes at me. It's easier and much less stressful than freaking out."

"I'm not going to spend it alone," he said. He'd been doing that all week. "My room or yours."
