The speakeasy was a classy joint. Wood panels, and soft velvet, and usually some kinda of live music, something mellow and easy to relax to. It was big, with low ceilings and with many back rooms, some easy to access, others less so. Easy to get lost in. And it gave off an air of class, of comfort, and being a part of something a little different from the rest. The kinda place where everybody knew your name, and everybody knew to be discreet about it.

It was the perfect place to grab a drink, sit, talk, and relax. No one over heard you, no one got in your business, but everyone was glad to talk if you wanted to find a friendly face. The owner, Conscientia, made her round every now and then, saying hello to her regulars, welcoming those who were new.

He paused. If this were a movie, he and Sebastian would either be back in his own room or Sebastian's room, back against the wall, tongues wrestling. At least, that was the clip that played in his mind.

"I'm not going to spend it alone," he said. He'd been doing that all week. "My room or yours."

He was taken aback for a moment. Had Blaine actually just said that to him? Really? "Doesn't matter to me either way, handsome."

It was one thing to think it. And he wasn't sure anything was going to happen. He'd heard how it had sounded. He knew. And maybe it would. Kurt hadn't spoken to him in months and Sebastian was here, now, wanting him. And he might die.

"Your room," he decided. What this was or was going to be, it needed to be on Blaine's terms.

Nodding, he walked past Blaine and headed in the direction of their living quarters, "By the way. I don't push boys past their limits, no matter what my demeanour shows."

"Thanks for the heads up," he replied, curtly, keeping in lock-step with Sebastian. He shoved his hands in his pockets.

He meant his words, but he felt that Blaine didn't believe him. Either way, he kept walking.

Once they arrived at the building, he hopped in the elevator and pressed 2. Sure, it wasn't that far, but walking on the stairs just annoyed him.

Blaine leaned against the back of the elevator, watching the electronic numbers. 1. 2. The doors opened and he followed Sebastian out, waiting for him to choose a direction.

Turning left once they were out of the elevator, it was three doors down until his room. Pulling out his key and opening it, he held the door for Blaine, "Welcome to... well, my home, I guess."

Blaine waited patiently, knowing full well what could happen wasn't going to. Or, he wanted to know that. And it wasn't loyalty to Kurt or anything like that. Kurt hadn't spoken to him in months. Kurt was a non issue and to be honest, Blaine was happy he wasn't here - he'd spare anyone what might become of them. But, he hid those feelings under his resentment.

He stepped inside, taking a look around. Their rooms weren't shoddy. They were quite nice. Give the tributes the lap of luxury, then unleash them into the games.

Now at least that made sense.

"It's --" Just like his room. "Nice." What else was he going to say?
