[OPEN ] ► Central Commons - Bar | Just Chilling
WHO| Lindsey and OPEN
WHAT| Lindsey spends some time people watching and drinking
WHEN| Three days post Arena 4
WHERE| Central Commons in the Training Center
WARNINGS/NOTES| None for now
Three days now and Lindsey was still sore over losing the silly competition. True that he hadn't paid it much mind when he was first told about it, also true that he never thought that he was going to make it so far to the end, but to lose it after being made to kill his own brother and be one of the last few remaining seemed a poor way to end it.
With a gin and tonic in hand, Lindsey paid the serving avox no mind as he watched people come and go from the open cocktail bar. Maybe tomorrow he'll venture out into the city.

Right now it looked like another tribute was heading his way. Sipping at his gin and tonic, he waited for her to have ordered before he smiled and called for her attention. "Hey. You look like you're looking for something strong."
no subject
Her attention peaked at the voice, and she turned curiously upon grabbing her scotch. From where she stood, it looked and sounded like Eliot, but when she sat next to him, any relief that had been there disappeared. It wasn't Eliot. "Today just feels like a hard liquor day."
no subject
"Good thing the liquor here's free, right?" Technically it wasn't, but everything was taken care of by the ones in charge and they really didn't have to worry about much. Reckoning day will be harsh, but then again, they already die for them every other week. "What's got you twisted up?"
no subject
"Just some unfortunate news I've come across." God, he looked and sounded so much like Eliot... she couldn't help staring.
"You look like one of the other Tributes. It's uncanny."

As if to prove his point, he waved for the Avox over for some snacks, nuts.
"I imagine I should," he said, "He's my brother. You want to order anything?"
no subject
"I'm good, thanks." She took a sip of her drink. "Eliot's your brother? So you must be twins, then."
no subject
His grin widened even further when their relationship was identified. Although Eliot looked a bit older thanks to the time Lindsey spent dead, but he guess the similarity was still there.
"Yeah, we are. Haven't seen him in a long while though, imagine my surprise when we meet up again here."
no subject
"It must be difficult, havin' family here." And the underlying implication in her tone is that it must be hard to know his brother is more or less a sex slave.
no subject
"Not really," he answered clueless to the reason behind her tone, "Seems like he's good luck for me so far. Got me supporters in my first game, that's something."
no subject
"I... guess I never looked at it that way."

With that... she's going back to her drink.

Such as he was the one who landed the killing blow on Eliot last time.
Alright, merely losing might not be his only reason for drinking, but he was definitely sober for someone trying to drink so perhaps that wasn't his goal either.

He killed his brother and was so disgustingly nonchalant about it. Anna didn't know how to react, so of course she just looked annoyed.

"He asked me to," Lindsey explained. "The radiation poisoning from the last arena did a number to him."
