Parting is all we know of Heaven
Who| Gabriel and Lindsey
What| Old pals meeting up again, apparently
Where| Rooftop of Tribute Center
When| Tonight? Sure
Warnings/Notes|N/A maybe. We'll see Might be NSFW. Oops.
Gabriel loved humanity. Really. Really, he did. Honest. It was just very hard to show it here. It was pretty tough on Earth at times to stick up for them, despite the reasons he found to continue loving them. Here. Well. It was still Earth. Fights to the death were nothing new. Humans were flawed and messed up. It wasn't even the arenas, really. It was just... everything. They were playing with fire and it boggled the mind that they still hadn't gotten burned off of it yet.
At least they could throw a good party, but man they were sure weird.
Being human probably wasn't helping matters on his end, to be totally honest. It made everything seem new and a million times more irritating. He could still feel his Grace, he was still an angel, but only in name and it was incredibly annoying to be on that brink. He often thought of Lucifer, as he knew that his brother would just get a kick out of this place, but Raphael came to mind this time along with the image of an extremely soaked cat. Perhaps it was best that, out of the archangels, it was him that came here.
There was a bright side, at least. At least he wasn't dead... or, rather, if he was dead, at least it wasn't boring. Gabriel still refrained from thinking too much about the upcoming arena, though...
Anyway, yes, he did love humanity, really. Tonight, though, things were just getting a little too loud and a little too overwhelming. Again, being mostly human wasn't helping. So, he decided to do a bit of exploring, maybe check out the rest of the Tribute Center that he hadn't seen yet, which led him to the rooftop gardens. It... Well, it wasn't really all that beautiful, honestly. Not exactly an Eden, but it was okay. Provided a different atmosphere and stuff. But the foliage didn't draw as much attention as the other side of the railing that ended in a swift drop off the side of the building. It sort of provided an eye opener, in a way. Such an easy way for a tribute to end it all standing right before them, but the answer of why they didn't do so was painfully obvious and made his mouth twist into another sneer. Playing with fire, these guys.
He turned back to the greenery.

He turned back to the greenery.

Also, a roof didn't have beds, and they may give each other enough bruises that they didn't need to add hard rooftop ground to the list of reasons.
He waved a hand in a mock gentlemanly gesture. "After you, Romea." Sorry, if Lindsey gets called another girly name, Gabriel wasn't getting away with being the guy.

Gabriel sauntered over to the elevator, the whole aspect of the garden and the rooftop gone from his mind as he pressed the shiny 11.
no subject
Oh, did Gabriel think he was getting away with that? It was only after they were safely ensconced inside the elevator that Lindsey moved up to whisper to his ear, "Ladies first." They were most definitely still on for the dominance battle although it had taken a tenor of rivalry than animosity.
Once in the relative privacy of the elevator, Lindsey did not think putting spy cameras in the elevator was beyond Panem society, he tried to pin Gabriel against the wall. It would have been a casual boxing in that had no real meaning in the enclosed space, but it set his assertion and showed his intent to kiss the man a second time if allowed.

But Gabriel smirked and tried to push Lindsey back against the other side of the elevator. It was going to be a quick ride, but surely he can win back some dominant dignity in that span of time.
no subject
Regretfully, they broke apart before Lindsey managed to do more than swipe his tongue at Gabriel's.
"Ladies first again," he said with a renewed smirk while he pretended to hold the elevator door for the angel to walk through. Gabriel would have to go first anyway, Lindsey didn't know which room was his.

"I don't mind being a woman," he announced, loud and proud. "Women top, too."
no subject
"I never said they didn't," he agreed while they were in the lounge. Yet as soon as they were in the enclosed area of Gabriel's room and the door firmly shut behind them, Lindsey let the other shoe drop. "But they don't do the fucking."
no subject
"This one does," he smirked again, pinning Lindsey to the door before he had an attempt to do otherwise.
no subject
"Oh yeah? How prepared are you for that?" This will be incredibly disappointing if all their playing had to stop because Gabriel didn't stock up on lube in his room.
no subject
Gabriel does let Lindsey push him back, but stops short right before the bed. He's not going down that easily, buddy. "Now see? You had a very poor copy if you weren't well aware that I'm always prepared for every circumstance."
no subject
When Gabriel stopped, Lindsey tried to kick the angel's legs out from under him to help him along. He wasn't above cheating to get what he wanted.
"Or I was double checking to make sure you're not the poor copy..." Even clothed, the thought of getting the angel and his feathery ass spread out beneath him was a heady thought. Especially knowing the powers he wielded when they weren't nuked.
I'm sorry I'm late AAAHHHHHHHHH
His back fell into the bed and his features twisted. "I'm not sure I condone that."
That's fine! I'm often much later.
When he kissed Gabriel this time, it was slower, much more leisurely done. His free hand meanwhile busied itself by slipping under the angel's shirt to reach the smooth skin beneath.

Slower kissing like this wasn't exactly as fun as wrestling, but there was something about it that Gabriel liked more than the rush. Both were great, though. He wasn't going to be picky.
For his own sake, Gabriel began busying his hands with Lindsey's clothes, pulling the other man closer as he did so. It wasn't submission. It was, uh... agreeing to terms.

They had time, they had space. Now that their battle was settled, or more like a temporary had been reached, Lindsey wasn't as demanding as before.
Surfacing for air led him to discover that his buttoned down shirt was half undone already. Chucking at that, he made quick work of the rest of it while giving Gabriel a pointed look to suggest the angel similarly disrobe.
Scars were revealed as Lindsey bared his body. The two bullet scars in his chest, one of them over his heart, the not quite faded scar that encircled his right hand completely like a bracelet. They were all from before Panem.
no subject
His vessel held no scars. Gabriel's true visage, on the other hand, wasn't nearly as rid of them, but Lindsey wouldn't have been able to tell that either way. He flung his shirt somewhere across the room.
no subject
He breathed on them slightly as he pulled back, just to see the reaction of the angel. "Lift your arms above your head, angel boy."
no subject
Too many questions that he decided to push very far away for the time being and, reluctantly, did as told. "Just so you know, I'm taking back my comment about being a girl."
no subject
Grinning a bit up at Gabriel, Lindsey dipped his head back down to kiss around the angel's neck. He sucked lightly on his adam's apple, then moved to nip a mark above his collar bone.
no subject
He hummed, moving his head aside to give the other man more room. "Maybe you did know me pretty well."
no subject
"Well enough." While putting some of his weight on Gabriel's hands, he freed his other one so he may lower it down between the angel's legs. He drew a finger up one inner thigh then palmed the package there. "Having second thoughts about taking the lead?"
no subject
"Are you?" he asked, not even focusing on his own question for more than a few seconds. Too much was going on, okay?
no subject
Lindsey laughed, letting the soft noise rumble against Gabriel's stomach when he lowered down to kiss along his navel. "Not a chance."
Giving Gabriel's wrists a slight squeeze, he commanded, "Keep them above your head." Straightening up, he straddled the angel's hips and slowly he removed his grip. Staring straight into Gabriel's eyes, he started undoing the angel's pants.
