WHO| Everyone
WHAT| Backstage for a round of interviews with the one and only Caesar Flickerman
WHEN| The closing ceremonies of Arena 02.
WHERE| A stage set up in one of the ballrooms of the Training Center
WARNINGS/NOTES| Find a setting in the threads below to tag into! A post will be made later for the actual interviews themselves.
It was clear the Capitol was nervous.
After the accidental trigger of the pod last celebration, this round the Capitol was "treating" the audience to one on one interviews with all the Tributes. A treat meant to keep everyone tucked at home for viewing parties.
The south wing of the Training Center had been made into a high security studio, light flooding one of the large ballrooms, while the tributes themselves were shuffled into dressing rooms and primped by their stylists, prepared to go on stage by their mentors, and generally left to wait their turn.

Greenroom
Screens populate the room so they can watch the other tributes in their interviews.

This is exciting. This is, on some level, a sign of success. Maybe a watered down one, but the goal is to have an interview with Caeser after. This is some how hollow compared to last year, but still, she is all smiles.
"Don't run!"
All right, so mostly smiles, and still a good chunk use to dealing with children.
YOU READY FOR THIS EFFIE?! THE DYNAMIC DUO IS COMING FOR YOU. (ki is tagging this next. prepare.)
"Actually, if you give them scissors, it'll be right up everyone's ally," he says dryly, then pops a vodka-soaked olive into his mouth as he sits next to her and grins. He's fairly certain that Effie has little to no idea what to do with him, and he's going to run with that while he can.
and then a week later................
"Think the princess might have a heart attack if that happened," He gave a grin to Tony. More rebellious words twisted through his inebriated mind, but he bit them back, "If it's not on her schedule, means it's not s'pposed to happen."
Re: and then a week later................
Of how she wished Katniss and Peeta were here. Neha was far from an ally against these two, and she had already figured out they were a horrible pair. Haymitch and Chaff weren't even this bad together.
And she would hate to see the three together.
"Well." She sniffed. "It's at least good to see you're always keeping an eye out for ways to one up your competition."

He nibbles at another olive and shifts in his chair so he can peek over her shoulder at whatever it was she was looking at. To be perfectly honest, he's not been that impressed with this 'future' technology. Some tiny little part of him is just dying to dig his hands into it all and upgrade the hell out of it. He could do it. But they would probably just blow up the rest of the world it, so he thinks he better not.
"So how did you wind up with this job anyway?" Tony find himself asking her. Because really, she seems a bit like a glorified PA.

"Whatever it was, she didn't want to end up in 12," he commented. That hadn't really ever been a secret. No one wanted 12 because no one wanted to deal with him and two dead tributes every year.

She gave him a sweet smile, obviously showing a bit of spirit. Interacting with Haymitch was such a constant now, she was getting use to having come backs. At least in situations like this. It was about the only way to handle him.
"My mothers was an Escort. It's a very well regarded job, and very hard to get. So although 12 is...less glamorous , it still is a honor to work with them."

"Or maybe not," he offers. "I've been told that I'm not exactly easy to work with."
Not that Tony has ever cared. Not back home and certainly not in this place.

Haymitch took another long drink from the contents of his glass before an Avox rushed over to fill his glass. Drunk was the only way he wanted to be for this set of interviews. The sooner he was gone, the sooner the night would be over.

She looked up at Haymitch. A look that said that yes, you are exactly who I am talking about.

Re: Greenroom
Standing out of the way, his back to the wall, he longed for a drink. But as tempting as it was to snag one of the little colored glasses the mute ones were toting back and forth, he resisted.
Eventually he'd be the one on the screens and he wouldn't risk dulling his wits.
Re: Greenroom
In the end, though, he'd figured out his own way of looking like SOME work was put into his look. He managed to sneak back into the dressing room and cop a dark green suit from one of the other districts' stylists when they weren't looking, along with a surprisingly appropriate tie. Add a gray fedora close enough to the suits' color to pass muster and...well, hopefully no one looked too closely.
Still, it wasn't just his stylists' lack of help that was on his mind. He was thinking about how not to betray the fact that he despised the Games and all that they stood for, regardless of the threats given to him by the authorities about how important it was that he play in them. It was just like the Triceratons - only in that case he had his brothers backing him up, and him backing them up.
But, in any case. He also had a crowd to entertain, so he had to think about how he was going to do that without slipping up. So anyone who finds him will certainly find him deep in thought.

Momoko shrugged, letting that brief bout of melancholy slip away and turned away from the screens, looking out over the rest of her competition. Her eyes fell on one striking figure, the turtle man she'd once believed to be a very theme-devoted Citizen.
The turtle man who'd died in an incident caused partially by Momoko's own stupidity and cowardice. Momoko frowned, then pushed away the annoying feelings of guilt and walked over to him. At the very least she could find out his name and stop calling him 'the turtle man'.
"Are you up soon?"

Too bad this was too public a place to be any more specific.

Re: Greenroom
Though she had a smile pasted on her face the whole time, she has not enjoyed all the fussing over her. And this outfit...seriously, she doesn't understand how catsuits became the chic ideal for what cat burglars do - there aren't any belts or pockets to put equipment in! So aggravating.
She looks longingly at the food, but feels like if she eats anything she'll just bloat and then look like a trussed ham on camera. She's kinda vain enough to care.
With a sigh, Max drags her fingers through her over-product-ed (is that a word? it is now) hair, and takes a look at her fellow Tributes somewhat cautiously. Some of them probably hate her. But Max doesn't care.
Well, she cares about a few of them.
