LOUNGE AROUND

WHO| Anyone not in the Arena
WHAT| Chillaxing in the common area.
WHEN| Anytime.
WHERE| The common area.
WARNING/NOTES| This is an ongoing post, it will be up and open the whole game round for your characters to wander in and out of, so please note if it is important when your character is there.

Also, please make sure to check if there is already an open thread you can tag into before starting a new one. Remembering, tagging new people gets you more credits.

With so much death, so quickly, the common area was always a buzz. Tributes, mentors, stylist and escorts, not to mention a small army of Avox to keep everything running smoothly. Some people were in a rushed hurry, stressed, or taking a break from the many stresses around them. Others were lounging, clearly not to worried about what was going on in the arena.

Drinks were close at hands, as well as any assortment of food. And if the selection didn't meet anyone's satisfaction, an Avox was always on hand to bring something new.

(OOC: You said there'd be a thread waiting; hope this is it.)

She had sighted something interesting. It had taken her a day's worth of laughter to get over being revived from the dead twice now. Her first arena was quite the experience. She was both happy that she'd be participating again, and quite mad that she wouldn't get her powers back. But back to the present, she had spotted a picture of one of the tributes she saw in the arena. The man near them... was clearly someone important then.

And so it was that Revya ended up approaching him. "That's an awful lot of paper you have there." Okay it almost made her gut knot itself, but she put up a nice front. She even smiled. But Revya had to know what was going on with all these papers. She was bored. And if this man knew about her past... Well she just had to make sure he didn't go blurting it out everywhere. It'd be enjoyable for everyone to be after her head again, but not if she didn't have any means to put up a fight.

"I'm not quite sold on the devices they give us to keep track of things."

He gave her a polite smile as she approached, looking her over. Revya, district 11. Another out lying district. Chaff and Seeder were both people he was familiar with, and on good terms with.

"I'm Elias. It's nice to meet you."

Just needed to prod a bit, then she could drop the formalities. "Aha, no one has ever said that about me before. How charming. I'd introduce myself but..." She motions her heads towards the papers. "I'm sure you know me. But do you really know me?" Revya made it clear that she was fishing. She stared at him. She wanted to get straight to the point already so she could stop being so damn smiley. It was hard to keep it up when she was pissed off about the hectic state of things.

He arched an eyebrow.

It was a little bit suspicious. But really, he wasn't going to turn down anything that could help his tributes. Even if he wasn't sure quite yet what she was looking for.

"Well, unless all of you is summed up in a short file, probably not."

Oh man this was weird. She had suspicions but this guy was just acting so plain normal. Either he didn't know Revya killed literally everything where she came from, or he didn't care. She stopped smiling, gaining her normal disposition and demeanor once more. "Well if you don't know then that's perfectly fine by me. Maybe they don't want it public and maybe you're just waaaaay insignificant in the step-ladder." The second half of a comment was plainly an insult. "Still guess you can be a bit useful though. Who's the Tribute at the top? I wanna know who to kill to spread my face around. It's annoying I have to wait until the next round though." And it seemed Revya was playing into the Capitol's hands and actually looking forward to being in the next arena.
nofunandgames: (...you are seriouse.)

sorry for the slow replies <3

Well.

His eyes widened slightly, more at the blunt nature than at what she actually said. He had dealt with enough careers to know the mentality, he just wasn't too use to it being so quickly tossed about.

Sitting back, he looked over at the table at he, studying her.

"So why, exactly, should I tell you that?"

T'sokay, I have people who don't even reply.

Revya grumbled, obviously holding back a threat. She knew this was gonna happen sooner or later. Outside of the arena she could only BARK. Something she could trade for information... Ah heck, why not, she was feeling generous.

"Not really my thing to do it for others, but I could go kill anyone else in the arena you don't like. ... Or hell if you're a complete wuss, I can even try protecting someone. Though of course they're gonna die eventually. And by the looks of it, over and over."

Well her bad mood was ruined. She grinned hopelessly at that last bit.
