With so much death, so quickly, the common area was always a buzz. Tributes, mentors, stylist and escorts, not to mention a small army of Avox to keep everything running smoothly. Some people were in a rushed hurry, stressed, or taking a break from the many stresses around them. Others were lounging, clearly not to worried about what was going on in the arena.

Drinks were close at hands, as well as any assortment of food. And if the selection didn't meet anyone's satisfaction, an Avox was always on hand to bring something new.

Wyatt gave him an obliged nod and pulled out the chair, dropping into the seat with a tired sigh.

"I've got sand in places I didn't know I had," he said dryly, shifting uncomfortably. "You'da thunk those fancy docs and all their magic do-dads woulda found a way to take care of that."

Elias grin didn't budge. Of his tributes, all of them, Wyatt was by far the one Elias enjoyed being around the most. There was a certain kinship. Perhaps because he knew he wouldn't die. That made it easier to relax into things.

"Well, we do have some impressive showers around here."

Wyatt muttered something under his breath that sounded remarkably like "damn bubbles," and there may have been a sudden whiff of something far to sweet and flowery for a man such as Wyatt... but before eith of them could be addressed, he was changing the subject and nodding down at the papers on the tabletop.

"So, who's left then?" he asked, taking a stab in the dark that's what the mess was about. "Anyone to make us proud?"

"Sasuke Uchiha is still in, and he seems to have potential."

He shrugged. He hadn't gotten a good grasp on the kid yet. So he was holding reservations on judgement.

Wyatt waited a beat to see if Elias would offer anything else, then broke down and asked himself.

"And the girl? ...How'd she do after I turned my boots up?"

He shrugged, no noncommittally.

"Well...she didn't win."

Which around here wasn't really as bad news as it use to be, but he knew it wasn't what Wyatt wanted to hear, either.
