Who| The Summoner and Anyone
What| Too big for the Capitol
Where| District 2 Suites and the Training Center
When| Today
Warnings/Notes| None
District 2 Suites
The Summoner had been cleaned up and led to his level and pointed to a room. He had been itching at straps for the fake wings he was wearing that mimicked the real wings he had tied down under his clothes. This was a strange place indeed.
So far in his stay he has left a hole in the wall with one of his horns above the door to his suite. It was an accident, and after that he hadn't attempted to go through the door again. He was currently slumped on one of the couches pondering his next move. He could probably stay where he was and just sleep here until they could do something about his door.
"I wonder if anyone minds me sleeping here for now."
Training Center
Having finally escaped his living quarters the Summoner has come to a place he thinks is somewhat familiar. There are weapons all around but he goes straight for a lance, the sort he's used to using. Of course to get to the lance he has to go past a rack of throwing knives (which he bumps with his horns and knocks over) and an area for practicing camouflage (which he has dragged his fake wings through on the way). Between the mess and the noise, and the generally huge horns he's walking around with it's impossible not to notice he's there.

He rubs his temple, staring at him. Then he shakes his head, slowly.
"Though I will tell you that you do make a change. After your rebellion endth...the Empreth dethideth to move all adultth off planet tho there'th no more rebellionth. That'th your legathy."

"You can't just tell me that and expect me to swallow it and accept it! I'm not going to go back and die like a cornered barkbeast. There's a way to win, I know there is."
Unconsciously, the Summoner lowers his head so the tips of his horns are pointed more threateningly at the other troll.

"That would be better than ending up like me!" He motions to his face, and that scars that circle his eyes and trail down his cheeks. "Would you rather die because you want equality, or do you want to suffer for thweepth and thweepth?"
He's almost snarling when he speaks, just getting more and more irritated. "You're not the only lowblood who wanted to change thingth, and dying ith better than what otherth have thuffered through!"
no subject
"I'm sorry you had to suffer for so long. This is exactly what I wanted to stop. And it's why I can't just accept that I'll be defeated. No one should have to go through what you have."

"I only thuffered tho long becauthe I wath thupid enough to fight alongthide thomeone who thought he knew how to make Alternia better. Hith plan backfired, obviouthly."

He bows his head, careful not to hit anything with his horns as he does. He doesn't know how else to get his message through. Of all the things the Summoner can do, standing by and watching isn't one of them.

He knows that in a way, the Summoner did make things better, at least a little bit. Trolls like him could live with their lusus, they had a few sweeps of peace where they weren't treated like shit.
But how does he explain that? How does he tell Summoner what changes he instilled, and what changed for the better and the worse? He doesn't know.
