The common area

Being inside was definitely something that Iskierka was going to have to get used to. True, she was small enough to make her way between things now, but that only helps when you're used to being that size, and right now Iskierka wasn't. She'd managed to figure out that it helped to duck her head to get through the door without major incident, but actually managing to navigate tight corners and the spaces between various items of furniture needs significant work.

Thus, she had decided to stop actually trying for the time being, and instead curled up in the middle of the nearest suitably-large space. The fact that it might also happen to a place that people might want to walk through doesn't seem to have bothered her any.

The roof

Even smaller than she was used to Iskierka was of the opinion that dragons were meant to fly, and so it was for that reason that she'd managed to make her way up to the roof of the building. And it had taken no small amount of work to figure out the contraptions that took people from one part of the building to the next, to be quite honest. Still, she'd figured it out eventually, and it's nice to finally be somewhere where she can stretch out her wings. Buildings are fine enough, but they do seem to end up a little bit cramped.

For now she's mostly flying above the building itself, but how long this is going to last is really anyone's guess.

Pruna came up onto the roof sometimes to think. She had been quiet since the victors party, in trouble for her tantrum. She was stood by the edge looking out onto the city when a shadow fell over her. It was too big to be a bird and she looked up.

Her eyes widened, it was smaller than the one in the arena but probably just as dangerous. She rolled to the side, to the wall, and crouched there.

Iskierka knew nothing about the dragon that had been in the arena, mostly because no one had really seen fit to tell her about it. But dangerous wouldn't be an inaccurate assessment of things, although there have been numerous attempts to tell her that acting out will be severely punished. She doesn't believe them, of course, but as the bulk of her ire lies with the Gamemakers and not the other people that she's run into, she's been generally willing to get into too many fights.

The fact that she's been promised that she may take part in a fight to the death probably doesn't hurt either.

It does take another moment or two before she comes back in to land on the roof again, but apart from being a dragon, she doesn't get up to anything particularly worrisome. She even comes in to land on the side of the roof that Pruna isn't on, and surely that says something about the whole situation.

Pruna remained in hiding, because you never knew when things could be a trick, but she did peak out, green eyes blinking from the wall, watching. To see what it would do next.

She doesn't immediately attack, which is probably something of a bonus. Instead there's a moment of silence as she considers the pair of eyes watching her, after which she settles in on the roof in a way not entirely unlike a cat deciding to stay a while. Only then does she actually bother to speak up.

"That's hardly a good place to hide, if you'd meant to stay hidden."

Pruna wrinkled her nose, shocked that the dragon could speak. She had not known that dragons could speak. "I did no be hiding." She said, indignantly. "I did be watching. I did no be knowing dragons could be talking."

"You can hardly have known very many of us then," Iskierka answers as if it's the most obvious thing into the world. After all she knows she can talk just fine and if other people don't know that it's not her fault. It simply means that people haven't been asking the right kind of questions.

"I did no never be knowing any dragons. But I did be seeing one once." She wrinkled her nose. "They did be being much bigger than you."

There's a moment of tense silence and a multitude of low hisses as she vents steam from her many spikes. It's not exactly a pleased sounding noise either, for all that it's only steam.

"So should I be, only they made me smaller for this and I'm not at all certain why."

Pruna looked amazed, she had never seen such a creature up close, and wondered how it could have steam inside it. Did it not hurt? maybe it did and it just didn't care.

"Maybe because you would no be fitting inside if you did be being giant." She suggested, wrinkling her nose.

No, it doesn't hurt. If anything, it's simply a part of her - the fire that keeps her warmer than most any other dragons also makes the steam happen. Not that she cares enough to know one way or the other, but there are more important things to talk about as things stand.

"That hardly gives them the right to take what should be mine."

"Well they do be doing lots of things that they do be having no right to be doing." She wrinkled her nose. They were more powerful than she had thought even, if they could capture a dragon.

"Can you no just be killing them all?"

Odd though Pruna's syntax was to Iskierka, the general sentiment behind it was one that she could very much agree with. Even if she know barely a fraction of what they'd done, she knew that she wasn't at all pleased with what she'd seen.

"Of course I could, but it's hardly as if they make themselves terribly available."

"So you do be needing to be finding them..." She frowned, understanding the problem of that. She had no idea where the people who ruled this city even lived.

"You could be killing some of the stupid hair people though there do be being lots of them."

"What stupid hair people?"

Iskierka has a rough idea of what goes on in the Capitol, yes, but not having anything that could even remotely be called 'hair' there are certain aspects of it that she has yet to really encounter. Plus she's not in the habit of killing people for no good reason, but that's not terribly relevant to the topic at hand.

"You will be knowing them, they will be making you wear stupid things." She wrinkled her nose, "Even if you do be a dragon they will probably be trying to be making you wear shoes."

She makes it sound like a threat, shoes are stupid.

Iskierka is inclined to agree with that sentiment. She knows people do generally tend to wear shoes, in his experience, but the idea of her wearing them is quite frankly ridiculous. She doesn't even have the right sort of feet for them and fairly obviously so.

"I should like to see them try."

"I would be liking to be seeing them trying as well." Or more she would like to see them fail and Iskierka eat them all. She grinned.
