Back from the dead
Who| Shion and open
What| After being killed by poison, being turned into a zombie and eventually being killed for real Shion is back in the capitol having officially lost the hunger games
Where| District 4 suites and briefly around the tribute tower
When| End of week 2 after Shion dies
Warnings/Notes| mentions of death and arena things
The arena had been vast and confusing and it had been no wonder that Shion had lost R. Without the older more experienced Zombie Shion was lost and once dark came he was all but doomed. Starvation, cold, eventually when he was half mad with hunger he got into a fight with creatures far more powerful than him, desperate to feed.
Eventually one of them must have destroyed his brain because Shion woke up in the Capitol, human again. Even though he had been warned that he would come back, and thanks to the poison, and the zombie bite it was not exactly the first time in the last fortnight that he had came back after dying, it was still jarring.
It was all he could do to prevent being sick until he was left alone back in district four, and then he curled up on his bed, knowing it was pathetic but unable to make sense of everything that had happened.
He stayed there as long as he could, trying to pretend that everything was just a nightmare, and he would wake back in No. 6. Better still that he would wake up in West Town, next to Rat to find they hadn't even attempted to take on the city yet.
But this was reality and he had to face it, just as he had faced it on leaving No. 6. So he barely even argued when his escort made him go downstairs, it wasn't good for him to stay hidden away, she told him. She didn't seem impressed with his performance at all and Shion didn't blame her.
The problem with being anywhere but his room was twofold. One was that there were other people, and the second was that ever room had at least two TVs and they were all showing the games.
He endured this for about half a minute before standing defiantly and going over to the nearest one, turning it off.

"Should you find one, do let me know. I'll be sure to see she gets it."

"Thank you, you are very kind."

One corner of his mouth pulled upward and held - just for a beat - before his attention turned, head lifting out of his hand, nodding at the Avox again.
Shion all but forgotten - dismissed - as he instructed the woman to find another tribute of interest.
