Lets get ready to rumble (closed)
Who: Calico and Jack
What: 'Planning' meeting
Where: The speakeasy (so Cal doesn't get herself into more trouble)
When: Ten minutes after Cal's post on the network
Warnings: Not really a warning, but Cal does use some vaguely bad language. And they're gonna be chatting/arguing about Sponsors and all the horrible things that go along with the patron-client relationships in the Capitol
<cut> It's been ten minutes. Calico arches a brow. He better get here within SECONDS. She shakes her head and takes a sip of her cocktail. Why she expected him to be on time is beyond even her. It's Jack. Annoying, bratty, son-she-never-wanted-and-is-way-too-young-to-have-and-totally-makes-her-feel-old Jack.
Bloody kid.
She takes another sip.
But that's just it. He IS just a kid, and so are half of these Tributes. They shouldn't be sold out to the highest bidder. It made her feel a bit better when she called Jack out on it, as futile was it was.
At the same time though, she peered at the folder in front of her. She had pictures of each of the District 8 tributes and a little blurb about them. She was considering each carefully, assessing who would be best to promote as the leading, promising hope from the District.
Jack better be here soon. He owes her a mohito.

"There you are." Jack's voice, even when in normal tone, seemed ready to raise to an ear-ringing timbre. "I got here as fast as I could."

"Go and get a drink and get over here. We have business, kid." Calico didn't bother to look up from the file. She was trying to decide on some sort of theme, properly. Thing is, all of the tributes looked so different - how was she supposed to make them look unified?

She looks up and points at the chair opposite her with her pen.
"Now - what exactly have you been up to? With HIM?'

"I thought we were here to discuss the Tributes?"
no subject
She puts her pen down, and sips at her mojito.
"You were a Tribute once, you know. One of MY Tributes that I'm supposed to be lookin' out for. Can't you make my job just a little bit easier and find someone I don' get dodgy vibes from?"

With that, his coffee comes, which he grabs and starts to drink.
