WHO| Cuthbert Allgood and Open!
WHAT| Food fight... sort of
WHEN| Afternoon on a day when nothing all that interesting is going on.
WHERE| Training Center
WARNINGS/NOTES| Minor injuries possible in this post.
It took some serious searching and luck and probably pestering various people who work for the Capitol, but Cuthbert has managed to get a decent slingshot to practice with. He knew he should have been practicing more of his close range and trapping skills, they would serve him better in a place where he wasn't likely to get the weapon he really wanted. But the temptation to practice with something he was comfortable with was just too much to resist.
Which went a little ways toward explaining what he was up to at the moment: firing unpopped popcorn kernels at anything he considered a worthy target in the Training Center arena. That included other tributes, so long as they had something interesting to aim at.
"Damn! These things are just too small."
He wasn't as accurate with the popcorn as he had been with the steel balls he used to use, but far less chance of getting in trouble this way (he hoped). It may not be wise to bend over until he has been disarmed or runs out of ammo.

"You asked for it," Karkat hisses, pulling Cuthbert's face down via the fist in his collar and kissing him. Although perhaps it would be more accurate to say that he'd attacked Cuthbert's mouth with his fangs.

"This seems a less than effective method of fighting. You'll not going to do this in the arena, will you?"
He isn't willing to accept this for what it most likely is. Because why would Karkat (a BOY and an ALIEN) want to kiss Cuthbert (a BOY and a HUMAN)? That doesn't make sense.

Somewhere in the back of his mind it occurs to him that Cuthbert has had no idea he's been black flirting, given how limited human romance is, but fuck that. Someone needs to tell him off before he gets himself into even more shit than he has already.
"I'm going upstairs. You can go fuck yourself."

But more than that... he's been flirting with someone who enjoyed it. And kissed him.
"Shit, wait!" He takes a few steps toward Karkat, not wanting him to be angry with him.

He grabs at Karkat's arm, he sincerely doesn't want the troll to walk away angry and ruin their tet before the next arena even starts. He's feeling extra guilty right now, this is all his fault, he knows it.

"Stop it," he says peevishly, pushing Cuthbert away. "You didn't ruin everything, you melodramatic fuckshit, I just can't deal with you right now without wanting to claw your eyes out."

"Not here, there are other people around."
But then, it does seem fairly serious. He lets go of Karkat's arm and stops reaching for him.
"Go then, but I expect we'll talk on this again later."
