Who| The Psiioniic, the other trolls, and YOU! It might lean heavily towards trolls, but anyone is welcome to join them!
What| Watching the final week of the Games.
Where| The Training Center common area.
When| Final week!
Warnings/Notes| Trolls everywhere. And also mentions of violence, death, and etc in passing.
It's probably not unusual for people to group together and watch the violence unfolding. The Psiioniic certainly doesn't see why it would be strange, and he looks remarkably unimpressed as a recap plays some especially gory scenes. He seems to be prepared for a crowd, with plates of food nicked from the District 2 suites scattered around him. He even prepared a sign for his little shindig:

Of course, most people won't be able to read the sign, and do you even know how long it took him to find a marker even close to the proper shade of yellow? Too long, that's what. But now he's prepared for the final cullwatch, and ready to spend time with members of his species. And people who might be curious as to what the hell he's scrawled on the sign.
(You would think something like "fiinal cullwatch" is pretty self-explanatory, but you could never be sure with aliens.)

"So long as we are feasting to better luck next round and not at the joy of watching corpses pile up, I will drink with thee."
no subject
"Thure, we can do that. I don't really care what people take from thith, ath long ath it'th not thomething mopey."
Not like he can really complain about people being mopey.
no subject
Of course, that's perfect timing for his own ill timed end to come up and he gets to watch with a sour look on his face while he kills Sherlock and then falls into the trap he dug.
"Damn waste for a perfectly good trap if you ask me."
no subject
He eyes Cuthbert up and down, and admittedly the trap wasn't bad. It did kill someone, after all. Even if it was because of embarrassing failure.
"It thtill therved it'th purpothe, heh."
no subject
He sighs and shakes off the last of his bad feelings about the whole thing. He is talking to Psiioniic for a reason, and it didn't entirely involve the sign and the cullings.
"But I will argue that moping over the loss of a life is more valid than moping over the return of an old friend. I will stop being sour and embrace the chance I've been given to try again. How about thee?"
no subject
"I'm trying to find a way to kill mythelf." He's only half-joking. "We're monitored eckthtremely well. Did you know that?"
no subject
"If you mean that there are those here more aware of our movements than they ought to be, I'm well aware. You are not looking at a fool, no matter what you may have heard."
He considers the implication for a moment.
"Is that the reason you don't wish to reconcile with Sai Signless? You are afraid that it will be a matter of public knowledge?"
no subject
He stiffens at the mention of Signless, hands curling into fists and eyes narrowing.
"I don't know how you know about what'th going on between me and him, but it'th none of anyone'th conthern. It'th ancient hithtory. Unimportant."
no subject
Actually, he's helping because he wants to prove to Karkat that you can get what you want without being a huge jerk about it. But he does like Signless and if this is what's best for him in a weird troll way, who was Cuthbert to stand in the way of it?
no subject
"I don't need help, and I don't need or want to be moirails with the Thufferer!"
Grump grump grump.
no subject
"Is that his name? I know your kind have odd names by my standards but that sounds... ominous."
He's not even mocking anymore, he's genuinely curious about Signless, and this might be a good way to learn more.
no subject
Even though, to be fair, the Signless doesn't even know how he died himself. It's hard being from the comparative future. It's hard and nobody understands.
no subject
There's more than a little defensiveness in that statement. He's hurt that he didn't know this about Signless if it was really something so important. But he also isn't sure if the Helmsman should be talking about it if Signless himself isn't comfortable with it. Well done, Cuthbert, you've talked yourself into another wonderful jam.
no subject
Which is a lie. The Empire tried very, very hard to erase all evidence of Signless' existence, including records of his execution. The Psiioniic knows this, but most important he knows what happened to the Signless, and he knows the one that was executed is nothing like the one here in the Capitol. He knows how the troll changed.

Bert put his hands on his hips in frustration. He didn't like being strung along like this. Especially by someone he thought he had the upper hand on not too long ago.
"Tell me or don't, but do not tease me with things I could hardly know of."
no subject
He smiles, but it's just the slightest upwards quirk of his lips.
"He wath thrung up by red hot ironth and tortured until he lotht touch with hith kindneth and curthed the Empire he had tried tho hard to over through. Eventually he wath killed by an arrow thot by the Executor Darkleer and his attempt at rebellion wath thouroughly thquathed."
no subject
But the levity doesn't last, considering the story he hears.
"What an awful way to die. Can you not simply hang a man like a civilized society would?"
Of course, he's heard of just as bad, if not worse. Charyou Tree, Come, Reap
no subject
It's not very creative.
He shrugs, spreading his hands as if to say he's not really sure. "The gallowth are uthed for other crimeth. Not when the Empire wantth to make an eckthample of thomeone."
Really, most crimes on Alternia will lead you to a noose.
no subject
That touched a sore spot and Bert is quick to defend himself.
"Don't they know the worse you treat a man the more the people champion him? And you thought your society was intelligent."
no subject
He's never going to stop being a jerk to Cuthbert, ever.
"Perhapth people would if they didn't fear the thame thing happening to them. Mentioning the Thufferer ith a thure fire way to get yourthelf culled."
no subject
Bert rolls his eyes at that last part.
"I doubt that stops anyone from speaking of him. Although, you must be lucky, even if you did say his name none would understand you so well as to know what you were saying and you would get away with it."
no subject
He hopes it is.
"Probably, but I don't really care what happened on the planet."
Bert, you're not funny. He's not even going to bother saying anything to that.
no subject
That's an exaggeration, but there's no reason for him to tell the troll that.
no subject
What does that even mean.
He sighs, horribly disappointed. "That'th unfortunate."
no subject
He's just going to peacock himself for now. Why not?
