Who| Gaila and open
What| Making herself available
Where| Tribute tower lounge, out and about in the Capitol and in several bars
When| Today!
It wasn't unusual for the red-headed alien to be found swanning about. Ever since leaving the arena she'd been doing everything that she could to schmooze potential sponsors. Sponsors, which meant Captiol citizens, meant having the best equipment and seeing that she was already weaker than her human counterparts she needed that help.
That being said, as she sat in the lounge sipping a very large glass of overly carbonated soda, her feet were seriously beginning to ache from all this promenading about on the arm of some rich citizen. Back to being a status symbol again. At least she was better equipped to deal with it than some of the tributes.

"Not very ladylike behavior."

He has more fun with the women who aren't ladylike, even if he knows he shouldn't.

"And you wont've. Not a lot of us manage to leave the planet."

He took a seat and relaxed. He didn't want to argue with her about titles, it was a fight he was destined to lose.
"What are you drinking? And how might I get some?"
no subject
"Soda." She replied. "It's carbonated water that tastes good." And it had most of the sugars that she needed to get her mildly tipsy without poisoning her like certain alcohols could. "Tell one of the Avoxes you want one. They'll bring it over." She gestures at one of the silent servants to point them out to him.

That broke the mood some. He watched the bubbles float to the top of Gaila's drink. Which gave him an idea on how to turn things around.
"Mayhap I can have a taste of yours..."
no subject
"Help yourself, sweetie." She passed the glass over without a second thought. Sharing things was common on Orion.

"Gan! 'Tis sweeter than I could have expected. Do you drink this all the time?"
no subject
"Yeah, I can't drink much booze, too much of it is poisonous to my species. Sugar on the other hand can get me nice'nd buzzed without killing me off." She replied with a grin. "How've you never had soda before?"
no subject
He laughed at the idea that she couldn't drink.
"I suppose we're of opposite inclinations then, where I come from alcohol is far easier to find than sweets."
no subject
"Aw, C'mon, you're pulling my leg, right?" She asked. "What kinda place doesn't have sweet things?"
no subject
He was a little sad talking about it, he knew how uncomfortable it made people to know how much he liked it in the Capitol.

"You must have lived in the lap of luxury, then. I cannot say I'm unimpressed."
He reached out to steal another sip of her soda.

He meant that as well as one can possibly mean a phrase like that. He was trying for a compliment.

He didn't like the idea of being babyfaced. He even made a sad puppy face at the implication. And here he thought he might have a chance with this beautiful lady.

Not to mention that he was barely 16, but that wasn't not the point here. He didn't like the implication that he was too young.

"And we don't marry either, not unless we're a clan matriarch."
