She keeps telling herself that she should be pleased about how far she made it this time, but in truth Arya feels like this whole Arena has been a dismal failure. She hadn't killed anyone. She'd spent far too much time clinging to Winterfell and roaming around the Godswood, instead of actively seeking out targets. And most of all, she hadn't been able to save Sansa. The first thing she'd done after she was revived was to seek out the footage of her sister's death, committing Ford's name and face to memory and adding him to her list. She doesn't however seek out Tom or Molotov or Éowyn, no matter how desperately she wants to see them after over a month alone in the Arena. She's certain they'll all be as disappointed with her as she is with herself. That evening will find her curled up in the blanket fort that's now spread over most of her room in the Training Centre, whispering the names over and over, generally sulking and trying to force herself to sleep.

When Arya died in the Arena, Tom's chest tightened hard enough he found it difficult to breathe, and it hasn't completely relaxed yet. Even knowing that she has been brought back (a perennial favorite, that girl) only releases the tension by a fraction.

It's the first time he's seen her die since he started to care for her. Wednesday killed her before he got out of the barn, that once. And he preceded her in the mini-Arena. He forgot the flipside of affection is the fear of loss, one which cuts him to the bone and hollows out the marrow. He doesn't waste time returning to the Training Center to come see her.

"Arya?" He raps at her door. "Arya, lass. I need to see you. Please."
