Who| Aang and Open
What| Aang is putting origami things fucking everywhere. This is the best way to handle feelings.
Where| All the Districts except D4.

Warnings/Notes| Self-prescribed art therapy.
Origami everywhere.
On the counters, the tables, on the backs of chairs, everywhere. Cranes, flowers, owls, dragons, swans, weird six-legged bison things, bow ties, all kinds of origami. They're placed around quickly and quietly and all at once, so a person can go into their room for five minutes just to come out and see their District covered.
If they're really quick on the draw, they may see a little boy with arrow tattoos placing the last of them. They're more likely to see the boy before he puts the origami everywhere, when he's hidden on top of the fridge and working on folding all his origami. He's just out of sight enough to be hard to spot if one isn't looking, but occasionally a little pale foot with an arrow tattoo dangling over the edge, either while he's working on folding or when he's taking a fitful nap.

"Yikes." Aang winces at the thought of missing fingernails. He nibbles at his fruit cup slowly, preferring to graze rather than devour it. He hasn't been eating much, so he should stretch this out.
"I wanted to remember them too." He softens, looking down at his cup. "I miss the people who we lost. I bet the families of the losing Tributes miss them too. I thought it'd be nice to celebrate them too for what they did."

"And I really appreciated it. Getting to be a part of it. So...thank you." She offered him an honest smile. Rare coming from her anymore. Her smiles were usually reserved for people who had saved her life, or were giving her something she could use for survival. Aang had more or less done the opposite. But he was an ally now for better or worse.

Her thank you (and that smile) squeezes a real smile out of him. Someone did like it. She did. He hadn't realized how much he wanted to hear approval from someone until she said it, and not only that, she's not angry that she's in trouble too. (She's cute when she smiles.) "No problem, Sandy." He settles his chin on his hand and gives a playful wink. "I'll make sure to invite you along next time I have a dumb idea."

"It's too bad you didn't get put in this district. It'd be nice having you around more." She added sipping her drink. Bayard was fun and a little gentlemen, but he was old fashioned in a different way from Aang. In the end they were all very different kids just trying to do what they felt was right.

She's definitely cute when she smiles, especially when it's a big dorky one like that. He wants to tease her, but he likes this easy conversation too much to risk it. He doesn't get to talk to people his own age enough.
"We could hang out more now that I'm avoiding my mentors, too." He'll have to rearrange his training schedule. Can't be near the gym when he knows Derek will be there. Derek won't attack him, but he wants to stay out of the way regardless.
