things you see in a graveyard; OPEN
Who| Shilo and YOU
What| new mentor in the hizz-ouse
Where| D2 suites, the park in the middle of the shopping center
When| anytime after Shilo's arrival in the Capitol
Warnings/Notes| bug catching? Possibly swear words?
DISTRICT 2 SUITES
After making her presence known on the communication network, Shilo moved from her room into the common room of the suites. Usually she'd rather sit holed up in her room, but she's trying to make an effort, and she needs to get to know the new Tributes.
Whenever someone enters they'll see her sitting cross-legged in one of the chairs, with a book open in her lap, rather than any of the higher tech options the Capitol offers. It takes her a moment to register that someone is in the room, whether they're watching her or not. When she ques in she looks up, hesitating a moment before offering a small smile and a somewhat timid wave. Not the best introduction, but she's somewhat awkward with new people.
THE PARK
Here Shilo is a little more animated, moving through the park, her gaze never lingering on any spot for long. She has a large bag slung across her body, unfashionable in most areas, but especially in the Capitol. Most people avoid her, which suits her perfectly fine. When she notices a brightly colored butterfly fluttering among the flowered trees she reaches into the bag, pulling out a jar and unscrewing the top.
Her focus on the insect is so intense, following it along as it moves from flower to flower, waiting for it to get close enough that she can snag it that she doesn't even notice anyone in her path, until she runs straight into a solid form.
"Ow, hey!"

This man didn't know that, of course.
She forces herself to smile, nodding her head.
"Sure. I'd love a cup of tea." She unfolds herself from the cross-legged position she's in, standing and moving over into the kitchen, still just paranoid enough that she wants to keep an eye on what he's doing with that kettle, but she attempts to come off casual, leaning her hip against the counter.
"I'm Shilo. I was a Victor several years ago, and I'm here to help with mentoring, now."

"I didn't win the way most people from my District do. I'm not built for brute force."

He drops a bit of tea into a strainer, and pours hot water over it.

"You're very marketable, you know. I've been watching the videos, and going through all the backlog of what I've missed. People love you. Shouldn't be hard to give you what you need to win, if you want."

"It's different," she replies to Torin's question, frowning down at her book for a moment before closing it. "I don't know what I expected."
