Who| The Dragon Age cast; any close CR they want to bring!
What| After recent events, Cullen feels like they need to meet up and make sure everyone is on the same page. No one should fall victim to the Capitol's machinations.
Where| Training center gym.
When| To...day?
Warnings/Notes| Nothing atm, will edit this if it becomes necessary. If you are in the Dragon Age cast, just assume that Cullen left a note at your door or you heard about the meeting from another cast member. Please tag around, this is basically just a mingle log for CR purposes! Feel free to poke me on plurk [plurk.com profile] frodabaggins if you want your character here but aren't sure if they'd get an invite!

The events of the past week or so have been worrying. Clearly, this place is more restrictive than even he thought at first - the people here are obsessed with keeping their power, and some of them even seem to enjoy baiting the Tributes.

That cannot happen. At least, if Cullen has anything to say about it, the Thedosians must keep a united front and stay out of things. Which is why he leaves notes at the door of every Thedosian he knows of, with a time and place scribbled on them for a meeting. It's imperative that they at least make sure they're on the same page, especially with more new arrivals showing up.

This world is far more dangerous than even he anticipated when he first arrived.

He waits until most have arrived, his face serious, his back straight as always, ever the consummate soldier - when nearly everyone is here, he finally starts in on his little speech. He's clearly prepared for it.

"I know a lot of things have been happening recently," he begins. "Things that are probably angering to a lot of us. I know we're all feeling very powerless right now, and might be tempted to try and lash out any way we can, just to lessen that feeling." If his gaze lingers a little on certain people, well. That's his business.

"I think it's important that we not do that, though. I think we need to keep quiet, and keep our heads down, and remember what our goal is: to find a way home. There's no point putting ourselves in danger needlessly. Many of the people here are clearly cruel and enjoy baiting us. They obviously want to see us slip up, get in trouble, be punished. We have to watch what we say, at all times. Let's not give them the satisfaction."

He looks to everyone for agreement.

"Well I hardly intend to send a crier running around from point to point here with the news. THAT would be almost bragging in their faces, wouldn't it? And I suppose they're as likely to change the rules as do much else if I were caught making it known. "

They'd have to do that, wouldn't they? "There is not much use in planning on very much, is there? Too easily found out and challenged, in the long run."

"Effective of them, certainly."

After all, if the goal is to keep everyone here entertained, the unknown is better for that than anything else. If someone can't swim and is pushed onto an island of some kind, well, all the better! Sebastian isn't certain who enjoys things taken that far, but they've established themselves in the Capitol as liking it, and there is no accounting for taste when it comes to some people, so, yes. As far as their goals go, constant surprise is important, isn't it?

"Beyond our imaginations." He shudders, thinking of some of what he's known in Thedas and that there could be opponents who are worse. Dragons are one thing to fight, and inspire fear, but one generally has a decent idea of how to fight them. Another world's equivalent...whatever they might find here....

"And I had thought we left the interesting times behind us." This had felt, at the outset, like a long, arduous, drawn out pain in the arse, but with a general sort of sense attached. Well, color him wrong, then.

"At least looking for each other is generic enough a plan. There's that."

A forest Sebastian imagines he can handle working with. It sounds annoying, and he dislikes the cold even though he can handle it fairly well when he has the right gear, but workable. Aside the beasts.

"Dare I imagine those beasts were not any we could recognize or that they did strange new things? I imagine singing and dancing but..." A shrug. "That's me." His eyes widen at the next bit though.

"In space. As though a man might fly there and...Well, be killed, I suppose from that story. How messy it all sounds." And there is a face. "Well then. New and exciting adventures guaranteed to kill us off until we...ah one of us...wins. Hardly reassuring, is that?"

"Perhaps not always each other, at face value." Sebastian muses, not bothering to feel badly for saying that in a room of allies he has sworn to. "If they might do all that is said, create these worlds, these arenas for us to play in, how are we to know they'll not strive to encourage one or two to betray the rest? Or to create projections that are like us, to act as substitutes to do the same? Is that something we might consider of any worth, to plan against?"

"It would, at that." Sebastian had to agree with Cullen there. "No, I would propose devising some way that we might be sure of each other. Something they could never know. Of course, I am not certain what, since I believe the Capitol IS meant to know everything. As it stands, I would sooner risk things with the lot of you, of course."

He just...worried still against that idea. Or a million others running through his mind. "The unknown presents some awful thoughts, doesn't it?"

"It is." Sebastian nodded, eyes darkening for a moment there. "I think we all have trusted where it's turned around and bitten us before." He needn't name names, though that wasn't the only one that came to mind.

"I can, at least, trust that we have each other's best interests at heart." He added, a slight smile pulling up his lips a little there. "It helps."

"Of course." Sebastian doubtlessly is going to disagree with these people as it came to some issues, and the same must apply to each of them in turn. Still, there are greater concerns to think about now, aren't there? Staying alive, staying out of trouble, looking out for the others.

"Well. At least we agree on the important thing."
